By the way, why don't we tell each other how we are losing weight in our posting of our numbers each day? For instance, I'm basically eating only when my stomach growls, indicating hunger. Some will say that is too late, that the metabolism has slowed down by that point, etc. but for me the indication that I'm actually hungry lets me know it's time to eat. What are your thoughts? What are you doing to lose weight?1

I am doing Intermittent fasting(16:8). It is not to lose weight but mainly because it keeps my PCOS and hypothyroid symptoms under control. I am not following any particular diet but trying to cut back on white rice and sugar and increase my veggie intake. I started(this week) 30min spinning in the morning and 30 min treadmill walk in the evening.2 -
I am just having a calorie deficit even if its really small right now. I recently regained some weight after some stress ( we were about to buy our first home and two days before closing the sellers backed out, I dealt with this by stress eating) so I am getting used to smaller portions again. Things that are really helping are drinking more water, drinking sparkling water & making sure I have tea.
I also meal prepped my breakfasts and lunches focusing on protein which seems to be doing a really good job at keeping me satisfied0 -
Thanks @laurenebargar and @cosmo30 great to hear your methods. @laurenebargar we just sold our house, but previously had 3 buyers back out (well 2 actually, 1 buyer backed out twice) so I do understand. I hope you get a better house at a better price, these things seem to having a way of working out like that.

Wow what a nightmare! Yes I hope we find another one soon, this whole process was a mess and we just unpacked everything (for the most part) so at least things are back to normal for the time being.

I had this whole thing written out yesterday, but looks like it didn't save. Basically focusing on whole foods (little to nothing processed), moderate protein, lots of healthy fats, and avoiding (but not excluding) sugars and grains.
