  • My advice? Don't change everything all at once. Small, gradual decisions are the way to go for long-term LIFESTYLE changes. That's what you are doing, not losing weight, but improving your lifestyle to lose weight. Oh and good morning! :smile:
  • Been two weeks since I've had a drink. I was spending all of my calories on stouts. I wanted to take a break and approach my stouts again with a clear mind. One or two a week is all I can afford with my goals!

  • I can't recall the recipe exactly, but I have made some decent chocolate cookies that were gluten free-(for my mother in law and she liked them...so you know it's good.) I used egg whites and cocoa powder and sweetener of your choice. Google "lava cookies gluten free" and I believe it would pop up from Good Housekeeping…
  • I've downgraded my night time snacking to rice cakes, an apple or a small handful of chocolate chips. In case you can't quit cold turkey, there are alternatives to satisfy the cravings.
  • Magnesium and iron supplements are the two things I WISH I knew about a long time ago. Maybe I would have been in a better mood.. Maybe.
  • GURL I am with you on the family drinking habits. My one side of the family can't celebrate Christmas morning without a jello shot or glass of mimosa.. It's hard to stay on track when you're being mocked but I prefer skipping the empty calories!
