Good job. Hard work but it pays off.

I too have SVT so I know how you feel. Couple of visits to the ER. I have low iron too and I am working on that through diet and supplements. Add me if you want. I am pretty responsive and serious about my health. Trying to lose about 25 lbs. Need more strength training too.

Yes looking for connections. There is a lady who I communicate with, who would also like more connections/friends.

I have been active since about June. Ive lost over 20 lbs. I check in everyday, log every meal and check on my friends. I'm serious about my health and love having friends who are active on this site. Age, gender, marital status makes no difference to me. Just want serious active contacts so add me if you want. I go to Orangtheory and I have a heartrate monitor that I wear. Some days it appears to be accurate while other days it reading very low. I am older so I am cautious not to over do things like I did when I was younger. If my rate gets to 85% of max I usually back off a bit. I don't want to be in a zone and not know that I…

I hear you and like you I don't like lifting but I am paying a price for it. After years of neglect and getting older I have discovered that I am not strong for my age, gender or size. I am playing catch up just so I can offset some of the issues associated with aging.. The good news is I started going to Orangetheory and…

Thanks so much for that...It really helps. So why is the total taken and does it mean anything significant?

Thank all of you for your thoughtful suggestions!

Thank you! My surgery has been postponed until January. My A1C was too high at post op so I have got to get it down. Appreciate the information and I wish you much success in your surgery. I am going to send you a friend request! Chuck

You've had nearly 19000 post so there would never be a dull moment!

Yes it is painful but I can move. Swimming is much easier. I guess that would suffice? Thank you!

my surgery was set back due to a high A1C blood test. I have been eating healthier but my blood sugar is higher than it has ever been. Any good books or websites on nutrition that might be helpful? Don't want to get caught up in a fad diet. I think I overloaded on fruit but not sure if that is the cause.?

I need people like you! Former athlete and athletic administrator, retired, married. Trying to get ready for knee replacement. Go to OrangeTheory and and get my butt kicked every time I go. Love the energy that youth offers. Young old, male female, married single, or race doesn’t matter. Just want to be around motivated…

Good advice and much appreciated! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I will look into this for sure. I presume you used this post surgery or was it also used in preparation of a surgery?
-
Thank you, I will check out BFR with my physical therapist.

Thank you. Good point! I’m seeing my PT person on Monday. Right leg hurts so bad that they haven’t gotten much work lately. I’m sure they are weak!

Great list. Thanks for your response. I was advised to have my knee replaced 10 years ago. I waited as I remember the surgeon telling me that there were significant improvements to the procedure each year. He was right!! It was an old football injury that I can no longer endure. Really affects the quality of life when you…
