Hey there... I sent you a friend request 🙂. I just have one son, but I allowed myself to fall into unhealthy eating habits and found myself weighing 10 lbs more than I did when I was at full term with DS. I have 45 lbs to lose. I am down 5 lbs so far. I also weigh in with the weekly weigh in group.

For me it was weighing 10 lbs more than I did at full term pregnancy. When I realized I weighed that much more than when I was due to have my child, that was the final straw. I am also sick of being the fat one in a petite family. They do not love me any less. But I am tired of being miserable, feeling lousy, and having…

@Picky_nikki ... I wish you the best of luck. I would love to hear how it goes for you!

I realize it is not for a lot of people. I also recognize I very well may lose the money I put forth and I am okay with that. Worst case scenario, I do not make it to 45 lbs in time, but I make some healthy changes and am out some money. I have wasted $35 dollars a month on much worse things than my health. I am probably…

I have also struggled with this. Such good advice from others. I think it helps to realize it is not an all or nothing situation. Sometimes it is making healthy choices one day at a time, but sometimes it is one bite at a time. Let's say you eat something that is calorie dense and fattening. You did not make the best…

Thank you all for the suggestions!

I'm 5' 1/2", funny how that half inch really matters when you are short :) . I have lost weight multiple times before and usually do not have trouble actually losing weight. Calories in calories out. Just as others have said log your food accurately, exercise is great, and do not pass your daily caloric limit. For me the…

Thanks for posting this because I have the same struggles and I am going to try some of the suggestions others gave! The most difficult time for me to not go off the deep end with my eating is during that time. And then when I do make the right healthy choices and see the scale climb, kinda sends me in a frenzy even though…

I second the water. Also, if you are feeling hungry, I think protein helps curb hunger. For me, a hard boiled egg or protein shake does the trick.

Hello. I am Kt. I have been successful with MFP in the past, but after letting myself go, I am starting over again. I usually do not have trouble losing weight, but after 6 mos to a year of reaching my goal, I have gained back the weight. I made a bet through Healthywage that I can lose 45 lbs in 6 mos. Hoping that the…

Please feel free to add me :) I was just about to start a post about this before I read your post. I am new to using the mfp community but have used mfp food diary to lose weight in the past. I would love to have an accountability partner and I appreciate honesty!
