I recently found out bread is high in sodium because the salt is needed to prevent the yeast from continuing to rise. Even the most “healthy” multi-grain breads are high in sodium around 200mg per slice. The Wonder type breads are practically pure carbs and high sodium. Thanks for the responses. I figured there are probably not a lot of people sharing the problem with sodium, or at least not wanting to post. I really like the MFP app, and have lost over 15 lbs since mid July, more importantly have got my sodium under control. But I’m finding out that buying food to make low sodium meals…
