Well, it wouldn't be generic. Closest MFP gets to that is giving a lot of people 1200 calorie goals because it won't allow them to go lower and they've set aggressive deficits (i.e. told MFP they wanted to lose 2lbs/week when they're short and 20 lbs overweight, for example. I am 5.6 and weigh 190. My goal is 150 pounds. I think my fitness pal had the calorie goal as 2,000. But I thought that was generic and changed it to 1,500. Maybe I was wrong in doing that. I think 1500 is good for me. I’m 5’6 200 pounds. My goal is 150 pounds. It feels okay. But I feel like I could easily eat more to get the satisfied feeling, which I guess is why I’m asking if that ever goes away when switching diets. I’m just trying to eat healthier by not eating processed foods like fast food, breads, chips etc. I’m not going to cut them out completely but try my best.

I am definitely an emotional eater if that’s what they call it. It’s hard not to thinking about pizza. I could eat even when I was full too! I just feel like I’m starving all the time. These first 3 days have been a little tough

In the same boat! Lost weight after my now 5 year old then gained it all and more after I had my second who is now 16 Months. We can do this again!! I’m on my 3 day of eating healthier and 2 weeks of going to the gym. I don’t look different but I can already tell I’m feeling better. The food is what gets me the most.…
