3.45 fast-paced walk and 15 minutes of yoga for runners.

In general, I try to make healthier choices but don't pay any attention to exactly how that breaks down. Calories only for me.

H, I think we may have similar weight loss goals (mine are SW 250, CW 220 with a GW of somewhere in the lower 130's). You can do it! This site is really great. Even on a bad day logging is helpful. Meal prepping a day or two in advance helps, as does entering my food BEFORE I've eaten. I seem to stay accountable to myself…

45 minutes hot yoga- worked on standing poses mainly. 45 minutes cardio kickboxing- I feel really dumb because I didn't know a lot of the moves and the instructor had to come over quite a bit. (She was very kind and encouraging I just felt very out of place). Oh well, I'll be able to do them all soon hopefully. Also did my…

6/7- 222.0 6/14- 221.2 6/21- 223.4 (knew it was coming, I slacked in logging and ate all the things on our Texas vacation) 6/28-220.0 (Yay! This puts me back to my pre-vacation and pre-sickness weight from May and back on track) 7/5 7/12 7/19 7/26 8/2 8/9 8/16 8/23

Took my kids to a new park which included a 2-mile walk around the pond and playground. Then went for a .5 mile run and a 1.5 mile fast paced walk. 6 minutes quick abs.

Congrats on your weight loss. When I get bored I type in meal plan ideas into pinterest and normally end up with a few I haven't tried yet. Honey sriracha meatball and cauli rice have been one of my faves over the last few months.

Can I join? I am not a teacher but work in spec ed. I set a goal for myself to lose another 10 pounds by the start of school. We got out June 4th. Our first day back with kids is August 23rd. I weigh in on Friday mornings. 6/7- 222.0 6/14- 221.2 6/21- 223.4 (knew it was coming, I slacked in logging and ate all the things…

I've chosen the lower 130's as my goal weight. My BMI says 104 to 131. When I was lower than 130 I looked sick. I didn't feel that great in the 140s. I figured I would shoot for lower 30's and then see how I feel. I was 133 the day I got married and I felt and looked my best, I think.

Spin or hot yoga.

What a neat idea for a thread. I started in mid January and lost 30 pounds by the end of May. I gained 4 pounds in June due to lack of logging, free for all eating and not moving my body. I'm back on track over the last few days though and am determined to slay the rest of 2019. I have about 90 more pounds to lose. I've…

Yes! I get annoyed having to do it but as soon as I stopped logging for 2.5 weeks I gained 4 pounds. (Have been losing 1.5-2.5 pounds per week).

Hi. I have a little bit more than that to lose (SW 250, CW 224 GW 130's). I'll send you a request. I check in every day but do need to do better with logging food.

150-600. Today I had coffee and a string cheese for breakfast. Tomorrow we are having pancakes, eggs and bacon. It's more consistent during the school year @ around 250 calories.

45 minutes spin today. A lot of jumps and sprints. At the end, some people were talking about weak cores and somehow all of ended up on mats doing ab workouts for 5 ish minutes. Let's see if I can remember- bicycles, v ups, dead bugs, toe tap and something that was similar to Russian twists but you were almost (butt on…

1. Run 1+ miles at a steady pace. 2. Lose 10 pounds 3. I would like to be able to chaturange- plank, mid plank, upward dog and then into downward dog. 5 months of yoga and I can't seem to get a handle on the mid plank and up dog.

Hi, hope I can jump right into this thread. I'm hoping to gain some new workout ideas. Today was a double day. 45 minutes of Hot Yoga (a lot of twists and balance poses) followed by 35 minutes of kickboxing. This was my first ever kickboxing class and I have a feeling I will be sore tomorrow. I'm debating on if I should…

I don't eat before yoga or my flobody classes but I do eat yogurt or something small before spin and sometimes a half hour before I run. I don't run long distances or even the entire time but I feel better if I eat before, depending on the time of day.

That sounds awful and I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope that this upcoming visit proves to be successful in you being heard and being taken seriously.

I have fibro. I LOVE swimming. It was one of the one things 3 years ago that didn't cause me even more pain or a flare. I even did it as a prescribed therapy. I don't know specifically about weight loss as I have no idea about what the average person burns swimming but anything that helps with a calorie deficit will help…

I'm sorry that has been your experience. have also had doctors tell me "if you just lose the weight", the look on their face when I explain my records showing the same symptoms from 105 pounds to 150 pounds is kind of nice. They start to backpedal fast and then actually listen to me and symptoms. I was also lucky to find…

You can do this! Like others have said, the fact that you walked is still good! You may not have reached where you wanted to but you moved your body and that's better than nothing! In July I could walk about .75 miles before I felt like I was dying. Now I walk 3-6 miles at a time and often run 2 of those miles. Your body…

This time around I didn't want the exercise to be a reason I eat something or don't eat a certain thing. I've found it to be a great stress reliever. I never ever thought I would be the one who would say that I wanted to go for a run to clear my mind or be bummed that I have to skip yoga because of something.

Feel free to add me. I'm not quite 5'2 and have about 100 pounds left to lose. My diary is not great for the last two weeks but I am determined to get back to proper tracking.

I like overnight oats occasionally. You can mix up the types and prepare some in advance. I was eating plain greek yogurt, added honey and a side of berries for a long time.
-
What workout did you do? Curves is a gym right? You'll need to search for the exercise and input that.
-
You probably already have but I'll ask anyway, have you looked into any possible thyroid issues, autoimmune issues? I have Fibro, suspected RA and a messed up thyroid. The exhaustion is insane.

I have a reward for every 5 pounds. Anything from a new nail polish color to a new work out outfit. I am a person who needs to work towards something. My goal weight reward is a specific vacation I want.

Hi, I had a total hyster when I was 28 and have been on HRT since (34 now). I switched to a different one last May and have noticed that this time around the weight is falling off more easily. At that time I had switched doctors and when she saw what I was on she told me that there was no way to expect weight loss with…

Hi, started at 250 and now at 220. At my highest, I was walking 4x a week for at least 45 minutes. When I lost the first 5 pounds I added a strength class and then after another 5 pounds a yoga class. Now I walk or run 3x week, hot yoga 2x week, barre or flobody 1x week. I also try to get into spin at least 1x week but a…
