I count it as strength.

I bought a Charge3. I feel like it has helped so much in my weight loss journey. It motivates me to move and drink more. I wish I had looked at Garmin's more before purchasing it though.

I've just accepted that it eats my calories and adjust accordingly. I love my flavored coffee creamer. I've tried probably 10 other options over the years and none compare to what I like.

I haven't had any luck with synching. I have a Fitbit CHarge 3. I just add in any exercise calories manually on MFP.

I was going to recommend the same thing. Also, I was really surprised at how beginner friendly a lot of classes are. My gym does a beginning foundation yoga once a month and a gentle yoga once a week. It's great for learning how to correctly hold a pose.

I started at a size 20 pants, XL-2x shirts depending on brand and 250 pounds (5'2). I'm 221 now and moved down to size 18 jeans. Still wearing that wide range of shirts but I've noticed a lot of the 2x ones are looser, slipping from my shoulders. I have gone down at least a half size in shoes in about 2 months. One pair is…

I agree with asking even if they don't have a calorie count on the menu. I served and bartended for many years and a lot of the chefs knew an approximate count of calories for what they cooked even though we never listed them out anywhere. IT wasn't for everything on the menu but usually the more popular items. Otherwise,…

I had to adjust my bedtime. I distinctly remember turning to my husband at 1:30 AM (that was the average time I had gone to sleep for years) and telling him that I had no idea why I was so tired. I was getting up at 4:15 am 2-4 times a week. whereas I used to get up between 6:30 and 7:45 am. Another thing to look into is…

I'm 226.2. Started running at 250 pounds and have run the distance of a 5K anywhere between 32 minute and 55 minutes. My average is probably right about 45 minutes. You can do it!

Hi, I have fibro and RA. I get sore about 4-12 hours after a strength or barre session. My Rhuem assures me it's the exercise and not the illness. And the pain is generally not where I flare. Everyone is different as someone else said it's probably best to speak with your doctor.

Hi there! I currently have 102 pounds to lose. SW 250 CW 232 and my GW is 130. I've been tracking my food and trying to hit my steps daily and exercise at least 3-6 days per week.

Lose a total of 30 pounds by June (11 pounds to go), hike in the Smokie Mountains, run a 5K in July and one in August.

What a beautiful post. Congratulations to you on both your weight loss and your journey through happiness and health.

I've lost almost 20. I was actually complaining to my husband when I hit 15 pounds lost that nothing had changed. Then he pointed out my feet looked thinner. I thought he was nuts. But then I slid my feet easily into a pair of Keds that didn't fit a year ago. So I guess I'm just losing it in awkward and strange places.

Hi, I have ulnar and carpel issues. 17 years of bartending really did a number on my left arm, wrist, and hand. I'll probably end up having the surgery within the next year. I've had the nerve testing done and really it's just dependent on my say so. Have you tried a brace at night? During the day? PT may help as well.

Inch worms. And I don't know what they are called but you hold a weight, have one foot planted on the floor and lift the other leg behind you while bringing the weight in your hand to the floor. Then slowly bring the weight up and the lifted leg back down. ETA- If I had read the thread first instead of posting right away I…

The treadmill I use at the gym is always 50-100 calories off one way or the other when compared to my Fitbit. I enter my weight into the treadmill. There is a heart monitor clip to use but I haven't ever used it. Since I got my Fitbit I just go by that but before I had it I took off 100 from whatever the treadmill said.

I was going between the Charge 3 and the Versa. Decided to get the Charge. Hoping I don't have any issues. I wish I taken a closer look at Garmin options.

My doctor suggested I see the weight loss clinic. I never went but grabbed a brochure and took it home. A lot of it seems as what others have mentioned. The one part that did make me think more about it was the individual and group counseling options. I also know that my insurance would have covered part of it but what…

No knee replacement but 2 surgeries involving my knees. My surgeon told me at both that it would be 6 months to a year before I had "up to par" strength or strength that was similar to what I had before surgery. That was with PT at home and at a center. For my right knee it was about 6 months and for my left, well it's…

I just ordered the Fitbit Charge 3 Friday. I've been looking at that or the Versa for the last month. I wish I had seen a thread like this before my purchase. I never even thought of Garmin. Anyway, I went with the Charge 3 because I couldn't justify the extra $ for music storage and it came recommended from a few people I…

I don't meal prep the way I see on YT and Pinterest but every week I make a weekly menu with a list of snacks, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. I've found that I am snacking less on random things and eating better things. I put the list on the fridge and another on my pantry door.

Hi, feel free to add me. I'm on my 3rd or 4th go around with losing the weight. This time is the last time. I'm tired of starting over.
-
I did this same thing like 2 hours ago. Pizza to the tune of some 1400 calories. This is my biggest over day since I starting this journey. I am trying to remember that it's only one day. One meal. Tomorrow is a new day. You are not a failure!

I'm going to go look through my closet now!

I'm 5'2 and 234 pounds. My size 20 jeans are too big 18's are not fitting (except for a pair from Torrid). In shirts, I wear a size XL (Kohls) all the way on up to a 20/22 (Lane Byrant). The leggings I have on right now are size 1's from Maurices but yesterday I had another pair of 1's on and they were too tight. Clothing…

2 cancer scares in a year. This is on top of having early cancer caught and removed in 2013. October 2017. I was told by multiple doctors I had thyroid cancer. It wasn't, thankfully. That started me on taking steps to maintain and change my mindset about food and exercise. A breast cancer scare in December of this year…

I like some of PopSugar Fitness videos.

I don't change mine on here but on Saturdays and Sundays I allow myself to increase my calories slightly. I keep my weekly calorie goal and intake in mind.
