Yeah I agree. Too expensive, but I'm willing to get these items at least a couple of times a month. Literally only 2x though.

Well that's a game changer. I have been weighing the pasta after cooking. And thinking about it now...of course a wet noodle is going to be heavier. :# Spaghetti squash has been my go to alternative. It's not my fav but it is an acceptable exchange.

@TavistockToad they deliver internationally? Looks like a good option. Maybe I can find something similar at Whole Foods... That is a good point....mainly it's not even the pasta itself that I enjoy, it's what I put on top. Which is why I don't mind alternating it with something else. So I guess the flexibility is what's…

165 is my goal weight. I was surprised you got woos at all. But like someone mentioned, not all know what it's supposed to mean. But it's personal preference, not everyone has to be a perfect size 0. In my perspective, I'd look sick and unhealthy at what is "appropriate" for my height. So I will be just fine with being…

I have my MFP set to lightly active. And my Fitbit give me no extra calories which I dont understand being I get 10k steps minimum/day and exercise 90ish minutes every other day.

Congrats on the weight loss! Unfortunately excess skin is what that is. When some (most) lose a lot of weight they will have skin that hangs. Gaining weight stretches your skin out, and it's extremely hard if not impossible to shrink excess skin naturally. Plastic Surgery is the only way I know of. Excess skin is a big…

Oh wow....I thought the just labeled their products and things WW but verbally called it Weight Watchers. That's odd to me. Like as if they are starting to read of a website. lol
-
Honestly I skimmed after the first chunk as well lol But now it's just called "WW" and they are trying to push more complete wellness instead of just weight loss. Trying to make it more general to reach a wider audience. But I find MFP good enough for me, it could be better but it's not the worst.

I don't think you can "save" or bank extra calories for longer than a week. I feel like you would gain weight. That said, if you are eating at a deficit for every day THIS week and then eating at maintenance for your treat meal, I don't think you will gain. But that is just my uneducated guess. lol

I use Pure Protein. They only have vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. They taste pretty good except the strawberry is putrid. I have yet to taste a good strawberry protein shake. But its 160-170 cal per scoop based on flavor and average protein grams. There are better powders but price wise great.

This thread gave me an idea that I admittedly should have had a long time ago. I used to work in a psych hospital and all the clients for the most part needed clothes. I have been holding out far too long on getting new clothes. I've lost about 85lbs but haven't bought new clothes yet because I am super cheap and didn't…

I think your bolded sentence is the key here. Coming from anorexia or from obesity, I think body dysmophia always plays a role to different extents. I also think that most of the time when people ask a question, they already know the answer and just want confirmation or reassurance. Sounds like you are doing all the right…

I would think the total calories.

Yeah heart palpitations. I plan on it. Just wondering if anyone experienced similiar things.

What the previous poster said^^ A lot of the Dollar Trees (Or whatever the equivalent store in your town most likely) have candy that isn't kept in stock at regular stores. They have a lot of old fashioned candy too. Dollar Tree is a diamond in the rough! lol *This post was not paid for by Dollar Tree. :D

Did an hour of zumba yesterday and it was super easy. Unlike in college when I thought I was going to have a heart attack. lol

Thanks! I know the final stretch is going to be the longest. But I'll get there.
-
To me that is what I get out of it. But a majority of MFP people say it means something is rubbish or bad.
-
My post got a woo? That is the most confusing button, people could take it two different ways. :/
-
Thanks everyone! I think the best thing I've gained on this journey is learning I can eat things like ice cream and "junk food" and still lose weight just eating in smaller amounts and not everyday.
-
You look amazing! Such an inspiration! I started the same weight as you and am at the same current weight. You have the right mindset! Weightloss is more mental than anything else to me. And looks like you're mental game is on point!

Yeah, as I typed that response the light bulb went off. But I was hungry a majority of the time on 1200 calories. So I will just work on heightening my patience level.

First 75lbs-ish lost I ate 1200 calories. Since last week, I raised calorie limit to 1530, but have been about 2-300 calories short of meeting that goal. So my calories have raised an insignificant amount I would say. I know I'm still in a calorie deficit.

I use a food scale for everything. Even the little things. I stopped using measuring cups awhile ago. I'm fairly confident on my logging accuracy.
-
I weigh myself every day. Honestly I think that is why I feel so discouraged, I try to hold off weighing but it's almost a compulsory act it feels like. I am 15lbs away from my goal weight. I lost 81lbs since April 2017. It just seem to have fallen off in the beginning without much effort. I was only counting calories at…
-
The only way for that to be correct, is by exactly how it states. If every day was like today. The chances that someone eats exactly the same thing, works out the exact same way is....slim. I close my diary just for a fake sense of instant gratification before I come back to reality lol.

Sure! After IV fluids and medications, she recovered completely.

It was acute hepatitis that was resolved soon after she stopped drinking the tea. Here's the article: https://abcnews.go.com/Health/teen-girl-develops-hepatitis-drinking-green-tea-bought/story?id=34045993
-
I read this news article a couple of weeks ago where this girl ordered green tea from China online. She drinked it as though she was personally responsible for maintaining China's economy. She developed hepatitis from it. I forgot why it gave her hepatitis....because science. But I think there was something else other than…

You look great! I know its frustrating to stall when you're just ready to floor it into gear! But it will happen just gotta get over the hump in the road. My starting weight was 264 and I stalled for at least 3 weeks at 205. I was eating completely by the book. No junk food, just protein, fruits, veggies and healthy fats.…
