Joining y'all a week late. My starting weight is 204.6.

Wonderful transformation! So inspirational!

Too a certain extent, she's not. Yes, things could have happened before hand to keep her blood sugar more stable but bottoming out happens. When it does it's less a binge and more of a panic response to eat whatever you can until you feel better.

Been there done that. You are still in calorie deficit for the week. You may not show the loss you would like or even a loss at all but it's going to be ok. There are diabetic groups on here. If the group is not active you may find friends that can be helpful and supportive. Go back and log everything in your diary. You…

E Thanks for the links :) I've recently been looking into Keto.

Very inspiring! Thank you for sharing.

Yep, different for everybody. An hour of zumba, for me, is 500 calories.

I was refered to as "that big gal" by someone giving directions in the neighborhood this morning. Appearance based bias happens all the time. For some reason people think that if it's never happened to them then it doesn't exist.

I do and you're definitely going to need some sort of rack for squats. Welcome to the group!

She is netting below 1200 calories on quite a few days, which means she is *probably* eating below her bmr. So the advice to eat more is sound.

I think it's pretty much a given that if it's in a magazine or something similar, it's probably photoshopped. It is common practice. Even the food in magazines are staged. Bottom line is they are not going to take the time, effort, and money to photoshop an overweight person for a fitness shoot, when they can take a…

Which is what a genuinely supportive and educated answer would be.

Did anyone ever stop to think that op knows she can't look exactly like the model in the pic? Maybe she's looking for some info on how to get some definition? There are plenty of unPS'd women on this site that eat and lift that have similar bodies. Way to miss the forest for the trees and be insulting on top of it all.

Wear some Zubaz and they will flock to you. ETA: just saw your update... it was the Zubaz, right?
-
You could always combine the questions and ask for personal identifiers as the beginning. The questions your asking apply (or not) to everyone. Eta: by doing so, you will have better information across the board for your paper.

That's a good goal. I also started out at 10 minutes and worked up to an hour. You can do it. There were some days I would tell myself I could do one more minute and quit, then as I built up, I would tell myself just 5 more minutes. I can do anything for 5 minutes. You'll get there:flowerforyou:

Ok, I mispoke by saying husband... mea culpa. I don't disagree with what you said right here. My point was don't blame her for "slacking" or making excuses when she actually does have a problem. She can fix it in a multitude of ways, but she is needs to face the fact that she has an unsupportive spouse. BTW there are…

Seriously? She is 18 and talking about her husband, pushing what are very likely babies into a room and ignoring them for the time it takes her to go to the gym, work out, and come home, because he can't be bothered. So you answer is to blame her for slacking? And in response to another post ^^ up there somewhere. It is…

Love it when you post your graphs. Bamf, indeed!

Exactly :flowerforyou:

Nope, it's a support system for fitness minded people. Some of the posts above constitute support. You don't like a particular thread? Back out of it.
-
I don't know how things are up there but down here DNA tests are mandatory anytime you go through support enforcement. It doesn't matter whether he said your daughter was his or not. Take the time off and go provide them with the paperwork. Just keep in mind they are like everyone else, overloaded with cases and…

Christine Feehan is good. I also like Sherrilyn Kenyon and Larissa Ione. There are several listed that I also read.

This has some good advice. Once you get past the "omg, you're eating crap" hysteria, the one thing that jumped out at me is that, between your diet and exercise (if your estimate is correct), you're not eating above your bmr very often. You are having low days and exercising on top of them. This is setting you up to go…

I think I'm losing from my head down and feet up. When I look at my progress pictures I can tell I've lost quite a bit of back fat. I'm just not losing that much in the belly so my pants are staying the same. They do fit looser in the thigh and butt due to lifting though.
