I usually eat something or drink a protein shake 1 hour before I work out. Seems like if I try to work out on empty stomach I have little energy to really push myself for a intense session. To each their own, this is what seems to work for me. Best of luck!

I have anxiety not currently on medication for it. I am using fitness/meditation as natural means to deal with and don't see why you couldn't do any exercise you wanted but agree with consult your doctor. Best of luck!

I do not eat back my exercise calories and usually come between 1200-1500 calories per day. I do not feel as though I am starving at all so this seems to be a happy place for me calorie wise.
