  • There is an option for "breastfeeding" in the food log with your desired calorie allotment depending on your baby's and amount you are nursing. For example: I'm still exclusively breastfeeding my 9 month old and I choose the 500 calorie option. I also eat back at least 50% of my exercise calories and 100% if I'm starving.
  • If I find that happening frequently, I reassess my diet, supplements, and activity. I had to stop hard workouts because my bones simply couldn't handle it and were breaking. I'm spending the entire year focusing on daily low impact exercises. I feel better overall and crash less frequently.
  • I should be as strong as an ox then! I stay home with 5 kids and homeschool them. Lol. It takes a lot of work to stay active believe it or not while juggling everyone's needs. I do get my steps in tho 😆
  • Everyone is so active and it's so inspiring (and a bit intimidating)! Today, I walked two miles while wearing my 28 lb infant, played just dance for 45 mins, and I think exclusively breastfeeding counts as a workout too 😅 I'll probably fit more activity in this evening. Till then, I've got a house to clean and laundry to…
  • I just wanted to give an update! Thank you for your suggestions. My youngest son is almost 9 months and still clingy af. He refuses the stroller and anything that might be helpful. It's cold and I hate going outside. So I've learned I can do walking workouts from YouTube safely while babywearing. I can also do squats while…
  • My son is very high needs and needs to be held constantly. I wear him and will do walking dvds. I also love love love the Every mother reclaim program for rebuilding pelvic floor and core strength.
  • Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and fruit are my daily breakfast items no matter if I'm home or on the go. I meal plan as much as I can and love when I have enough calories in my budget for morning oatmeal, which I can also take in the run in a to go cup.
  • I cannot recommend the Every Mother program more! I just had my 5th baby and wish it existed for my previous recoveries. It assists with diastasis recti and pelvic floor recovery.
  • Thank you all for your suggestions. It's a bummer that my current short spurts won't do much. My husband works in the film industry. It's 70 to 80 hours a week, so he's not able to help most days. He does what he can. I'm currently not getting enough sleep (maybe 2 to 5 hours a night), so I don't have much wiggle room…
  • 36 yr old mother of 5 kids ages 15 yrs to 3 months. I'd love more mom friends.
  • I want my kids to stop pointing out my fat.
  • Stress and hormones affect my appetite, which is why I use mfp. My appetite never seems to match my actual needs. I'm either never hungry or starving. I'm currently 3 weeks postpartum, breastfeeding, and can eat everything in the pantry in one sitting. I count my calories to stay in a heavy range.
