thank you @LyndaBSS !

Heh I guessed 876. Thanks!

i agree with the above. i just started enabling them about a month ago, and now the numbers from fitbit and mfp match much more closely. it's never over 100 cals for me, but for a numbers geek like me it matters.

i'm literally the opposite. i've only ever had instant grits but i really want to try the real thing!

yeah, if you exercise, your numbers will go up. unless you have premium and tell it to not adjust your goals due to exercise.

every morning. which i note in a spreadsheet and average that past 7 days.

as far as the 'x 1.5' goes...i think they were doing the raw vs cooked ratio? sometimes, if i'm cooking for the kids too and can't segregate my portion our ahead of time, i'll weigh all the meat raw, then weigh is all cooked, and divide to get the difference. for example: if chicken is 2oz raw, then 1oz cooked, i'll…

what @bpetrosky said, with the disclosure that you cannot edit an entry with a green check mark...no matter how wrong it is.

does swearing at the weights i just lifted count? 'suck it, bish', often escapes my lips after shoulder presses.

kudos. you identified the problem and instead of blaming external sources, you checked yourself first. and on top of realizing what the problem is, you took corrective action. i think you will be successful.

im not buying those stats. 3 million for programming a site? 'lord vader' in mom's basement could do it for a free pizza. you gonna trust a bank estimating their expenses?
-
may i ask why you chose keto? well, i suppose i just did, you can choose to answer or not

i love them. but, apparently i'm a family of 4. all by myself.
-
very interesting, OP. yep, i'd say so! i never really thought about it, but people that are heavier than me can do so much more.

that's why i stick to wearing my thick a** glasses

what are dates?

nothing to offer except my best wishes. i'm scared as well lol.

diet breaks sound counter intuitive at first...at least for me. until i tried taking them. sometimes you gotta take 2 steps back to make a leap over the wall. great post, with a premature bump.

i don't log everything for just calories. i like knowing the nutrients too. so i log everything that goes into my salads. also, i hate cucumbers, they have a weird texture to me.
-
i concur with @momjogger. my oatmeal tortilla with spinach runs about 150 and is as low as i can go without feeling like a potato during my workout. i eat it about an hour before working out, that's my personal sweet spot.
-
this post is so full of awesome. i'm the same way. i'm like...you go girl/boy! i don't really care what people think, but i find it hard to believe they (most) would look unkindly upon someone trying to improve.
-
if that's your woe, more power too ya. good luck!
-
omfffffffffffg...progressive overload...i reached my goals of all 3 compound exercises last workout(a), so this time i upped the weight on them all by 10 lbs. my body hates me right now, i can barely move.
-
i thought that said steak. leaving disappointed.
-
hey OP...
-
sigh. today is the italian fest right outside of my work. giant garlic bread bowls of pasta.

i like jay

eh time for a bump, super useful thread!
