how many rest days are needed for weight lifting?
i haven't the slightest clue how often to do my weight lifting or how many days to rest between sessions. any advice? i prefer upper body/lower body splits as opposed to whole body or ppl, but i can switch if it's better for muscle building.

Fitbit...do you trust the numbers?
i have my mfp account linked with fitbit. do you trust the numbers that show up for mfp exercise from fitbit? i keep a spreadsheet with my daily weight, calories in, and calories out. when i do the math for the past 2 months, i should have lost 8 lbs (says i burned approx 28,000 calories). i lost 4. i'm meticulous about my…

sigh...logging question
i'm sorry, this is probably obvious, but i can't find a decent answer on the forums. when logging ribs, does the weight include the bone? or is it just the meat? i'm assuming just the meat. weigh raw weigh cooked do my tricky math to make raw = cooked subtract the bones is that correct?

obsessing over macros

Iron
I just went to give blood today and didn't pass the iron test. they said i had to be at 13 and it was 12.3. so they sent me on my way with a deferral letter stating ways to get more iron in my system (fish, spinach, etc), which is pretty much my daily diet. Any ideas why my iron would be low? I'm 45, lost about 48ish…
