Today a colleague brought over some leftover birthday cake from her daughter's birthday. I had a look but didn't want a piece because I couldn't afford it. Normally I would have been tempted to at least try some, if only to see if that bakery makes good birthday cakes.

Update SW (January 2): 210 lbs CW : 207.2 lbs GW for this challenge: 199.0 The drop was very encouraging. Especially since I had been at 210 since December pre-Christmas.

Exercise is my linchpin habit. It sets the tone for me being more health conscious in general. For weight loss in particular it doesn't help that much because I eat back most of my exercise calories (or it helps in a roundabout way of I get to eat more while staying at a deficit)
