I am trying to come to come to terms with deteriorating health. I have a daily half-hour service from a carer for wash-down and cream on back due to being unable to walk for over 5 years and I am reliant on a mobility scooter, hence no option to do workouts. My weight control is a target of 2 lbs. per month (4 weeks) based on diet alone. Previously very fit ex-RAF Navigator enjoying caving, paragliding, weight training, X-Country running and budget adventure travel. Stage 4 prostate cancer affects left leg from pelvis to foot. Also kidney problems causing badly swollen feet. I can just about manage arm curls with dumb-bells10 lb. on each arm. My RAF standard was 25 lbs. on each arm when I weighed 8 stones. Enjoying a healthy diet based upon 1600 calories per day.

You can definitely do it through diet alone.
