I finished baking 3 types of cookies, 3 types of breads, 1 cheesecake and 1 mousse cake over the past 3 days. I didn't exceed my calories in ANY of those baking days.

IF like 5:2 and OMAD? So... Total 5 meals a week? I wish I could do that. It would make my meal planning so much easier. You'll have to experiment I guess. I find I can easily skip breakfast and/or dinner but not eating for whole day is tough. It's all very personal.

A spreadsheet for real? Wow you are hardcore chocoholic! I like that ETA: your chocolate party reminds me of this chocolate bar in Singapore...and why I gained so much weight living there. Sigh.

250g of Mascarpone cost $7 and heavy shipping cream $6/litre where I stay. Goes without saying that I don't eat tiramisu very often. which is a good thing. I have also never had fruitcake OP. But I am curious to see what you'll end up doing. The soak fruitcake in liqueur suggestion seems to make sense though

Nope. Just had 100g of Lindt milk chocolate and logged it as dinner ;) Fits within my (1200+exercise) calories too. I am being cheeky. Of course I don't recommend. I just saw the call to chocoholics while I was finishing the last bite

Whaaat? Your face on your picture, that's only a 25 lbs difference? :o

23 BMI looks really slim. Great job!

So... Was she gaining weight before she started taking this pill? Or is she eating more carbs now that she has started taking them?

My aha moment was realizing you CAN be hungry. It's only being hungry. It's not starvation, it won't kill you. You can postpone a meal, you don't have to grab the first snack you can get your hands on. ETA: of course drinking water helps ;)

Have you ever seen a weight loss video or success story showing people eating apple fritters, chips, Mac and cheese? Nooo. They always show people in exercise clothes chopping fruits or blending veggies. No wonder lots of people don't get it (OK they don't want to get it but still)

Nice to see a politician who admits to trying to lose weight. Hope he doesn't go all out and then fizzles. 12 lbs in 2 weeks seems a bit extreme. ETA: I also wonder how many celebrities lurk around here.

3.3 miles walk @ moderate pace. I thought I was killing it pace wise but nope: fast walk for me is still moderate pace only. Sigh

Side to side pictures. They'll clearly show you that you are doing the right thing. 30 lbs is NOT a small number.

Can you tell us where you get stuck? Have you reached the "Create a Recipe" page? Are you trying to "Add from Web" (it doesn't work so well for me) or "Enter ingredients manually", basically where do you get stuck? Also are you on a PC or phone? I have always used the app on Android to enter recipes so that's all I can…

So jealous. 189 is my first goal weight on MFP, when I stop being obese and become overweight.

And don't get me started on foie gras. Duck is stuffed until liver is sick and that's considered a delicacy

Hi @bowdlill Losing weight is about consuming less calories than you burn. It's also about time. Losing weight over the holidays means what exactly? You are looking for a crash diet for the next two weeks? Per MFP forum guidelines you won't have any recommendation to undereat here. Your question doesn't provide ANY context…
-
I think I'll be paraphrasing you frequently: there are no bad foods but there are bad diets.
-
Welcome to MFP! I am sure you'll find a community of people who have faced the same issues and will support you.

It's not what you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas but what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving. Enjoy the holidays (in moderation) and get back at it immediately after.

No dessert after dinner.
