35 years of zero thoughts or effort regarding calories, nutrition or exercise -> Almost 2 years of lifting weights and controlling calories and macros

Still at it, 1.5 years of diet and lifting now, with plenty of setbacks along the way. I can't say I've reached my goals yet but I'm really happy with what I've accomplished and now I feel like I've done it long enough that it's stuck.

Set alarm for 2 hours after bedtime, wake up, take the pill and go back to sleep. A little Coke Zero most days. I'm not scared of artificial sweeteners and it helps to have something sweet and tasty I can have for free, you don't get many of those.

My sophomore year of high school weight... which I haven't been even close to since, well, sophomore year in high school.... ~20 years ago. 160lb. 6lb to go and I can taste it!

3 months progress. I will go down to around 155 and then go back to maintenance or possibly a small surplus and continue lifting. Even though it's not a huge amount of weight gone, I feel so much better.
