I had exactly the same problem and it turned out to be hormone related:( Maybe get a check up?

how about beans, tofu, eggs, nuts, cottage cheese?

That's what it all comes down to....We as a human race don't have anywhere near as much respect and appreciation for nature as we should

@777Gemma888 all I'm saying is that many people who eat meat don't give a single thought to where it comes from and how it gets to the shelf in the shop. Once they learn a bit about it, or see it, I'm sure many of them would make different choices in the future. I'm sure of it cause I used to be one of those people.

I'm sorry but it sounds to me like your husband simply wants to have more time to himself while you're looking after the kids....The time you spend in the gym could be a fun quality time he spends with children....Is he helping you at all with everyday chores? Is he supportive in any other area? Or is everything your…

It has nothing to do with being squemish. I work in the hospital and have seen more procedures/surgeries than I can count and none of them disgusted me. I simply don't agree with cruel slaughter of innocent creatures if we can be perfectly fine and healthy as vegeterians/vegans, and I will not be a part of it. If you do,…

Coffee makes me less hungry. Lack of sleep on the other hand, makes me feel starving no matter how much I eat ( and craving for all sorts of sweet and fatty unhealthy foods)

Hey you should be happy, they were never really your friends to begin with, now you don't have to waste your energy on people who don't deserve it:) Focus on you and what makes you happy, and the real friends will always be there, and I'm sure you'll meet some new like minded people too

remember the year is gonna go by anyway, whether you work towards your goal or not:) Imagine where would you have been now if you started a year ago? think about it, and focus on the reasons why you're doing it. If you have a slip up, just log it and try to do better the next day, we all make mistakes sometimes. Good luck

It's a vicious cycle you need to break, or it's only gonna get worse. The more sedentary you are, the more tired and lazy you feel! I know it's hard to go out again once you get home after all day at work, so why not do it straight after work and then go home? Or first thing in the morning? Or maybe do some exercise at…

My favourite breakfast is 2 scrambled eggs with a little bit of ketchup and feta cheese in a Weight Watchers tortilla wrap (118 kcal, 23g carbs, 3.5g protein per wrap, it's good in compare to other ones that's why I buy WW ones) ...yummy, filling, high in protein and easy to prepare.

why not try some classes in the gym to ease into it a bit?

I know it's far from perfect, but I have a cheat day once a month. That way if I get any cravings, I keep myself going by explaining to myself I can have what I want at the end of the month:)

believe me, you're not alone! I think most of us felt this way at some point, especially at the beginning. It gets easier in time, you'll get used to it. And if you do come across an very occasional creep who's staring at your bum while you're doing squats, turn around and ask what does he want, I guarantee you he'll be…

@KnitOrMiss Thank you so much for all the information! As for your question, the only supplement I was taking when I went low carb for a month was a multivitamin, I had no idea about the sodium.....I was drinking plenty of water, I drink approx 3litres daily. As for protein, I got about 80-90g daily, it's very hard to go…

my only suggestion is to force yourself to get up and do it.... I'm sure you don't have energy to get up for work too, but you do it because you have to, right? ;) That's what I do simply because my morning workouts are much better/harde. And once you're up and start working out, it feels great
-
@gcibsthom You look like Walter White from Breaking Bad:D amazing transformation
-
someone already mentioned it, but maybe you're not getting enough sleep? If I work out in the morning I'm in bed by 9:30pm the night before.

Pizza, Haagen Dazs, Doritos and Cheetos! Always lol

I think your hubby needs a kick up his a***! He should be calling you a superhero for carrying and delivering 2 children, and supporting you in any way possible, not calling you fat:( Give yourself time to recover, you've done it once you can do it again. Congratulations on the baby!
-
For me it's the other way around, there's less to do outside in winter so I can spend all my time in the gym lol.....And it's nice and empty cause most people can't be bothered in winter:D

It sounds like you have a very stressful job. Slow down! I know it's easy to skip meals and breaks at work when you've got deadlines coming up, but it's worth it. Believe me, I've been there and it didn't do me any favours - all it does is increasing cravings for high kcal and fat food
-
you look amazing! well done!

It's not a recipe, but if I'm craving something sweet I usually go for Halo Top ice cream (for example, Sea Salt Caramel flavour has 68kcal per 100ml). WheyHey ice cream are even better because they're packed with protein, but harder to find (Salted Caramel has 76kcal and 7.1g of protein per 100ml).

I'm no expert, but I agree with everyone that you should take it slow and build your strength gradually. Also, what reduced the soreness for me dramatically when I first started was BCAAs before and after workout.
-
@ceiswyn it makes sense...I guess I expected too much too quickly. What got my hopes up too was the estimate at the end of each day when the diary is completed which was around 86 most days. Guess I need to learn to be patient and appreciate every little step in the right direction

I know they're not perfect but I used the scale in the gym that analyses body composition and compares it to previous result, according to that I've lost 1kg of weight out of which 0.4kg was muscle mass. do you think my kcal are wrong? Cause when I first set the goals MFP gave me 1200, but that was just too low, I couldn't…
