The journey continues.

I went from 240 to 180 in about 9 months. No carbs, high protein and lots of weights and cardio. 2 years later, I now do weights 6 days a week and manage my calories. Saturday I do what I like. Sunday I do no exercise but eat well.

A 2 year journey. Eating well and the gym is now my life. I built a gym in my spare room and it has really paid off with all the lockdowns.

It’s all relative. I went from 105kg to 85kg Preciously XXL T-shirt’s and 17” collar and 38” waist to now: M T-shirt, 15” collar and 30” waist. Now that my whole wardrobe has changed, I can look in the mirror and still see the overweight guy Sometimes.

You should be proud of yourself already!! You’re working hard. I’ve found my groove I guess and it’s working. I eat about 1800 calories a day with about 200g of protein every day. Greek yoghurt, fish and chicken mostly. I hardly eat any bread, potatoes etc. On Saturdays I eat and drink whatever I like. One day off. I go to…

I do have some of that but I find it’s an overpowering scent. I have the nose of a bloodhound so adding a really sharp fragrance on top of a smell, I smell both. It’s probably time to try the vinegar trick!

I’ve gained quite a lot. I built a full gym in my spare room and I’m actually sticking with the home gym. I’m fed up with teenagers in groups around the kit I need and all they do is gossip and play on Facebook.

Old bananas are mostly sugar and not worth eating. Bananas with a very slight tinge of green are perfect

You should measure Saturday too. I didn’t at first and was pretty much undoing all my hard work. I track Saturdays to ensure when I’m cutting, I’m still hitting my calorie goal on an average over a week. That really helped me.
