30 minutes on the treadmill at 4.8-5 mph pace with one min at 5.6 mph. Increasing mileage. Also 10 min at 3.2 mph on the treadmill plus 30 minutes walking outside with the dog. 70 degrees F, light wind, everything in nature is light green. The dogwoods are blooming. Ah, spring!

NCIS has been my go-to show on the elliptical machine for YEARS now!!
-
2 min Helix trainer, 25 minutes ex bike @ moderate to somewhat intense pace, 10 minutes strength training, 10 min stretching. Also 30 min walking outside in three intervals. A gorgeous spring day here.

Rest day today. --Partly because of a CT scan I have scheduled for this afternoon and partly because my two running sessions earlier this week have worn me out.
-
Today was much like Monday's treadmill run, only 30 sec. of walking in between each 10 min. of running at a 5 mph pace. A cool down walk, then 6-8 min stretching. This week I'm increasing my minutes spent running, and tonight I'm fatigued!
-
3 min Helix trainer to warm up, 17 min exercise bike at a 13 mph pace, 10 min strength training interspersed with squats and stretches. (I was short on time today.) Also a couple of 10 min walks with the dog.
-
A 30 min treadmill run at 5.2 mph, then a cool down walk of 5 min and 15-20 minutes stretching (lunges, then mat, planks, boat pose). Also 45 min walking outside, broken up into three intervals.

The storms moved on so we started 25 minutes late but did the whole triathlon as planned: 10 min swim, 20 min bike, 15 min run. I'm glad I did it --made me very motivated to get in my workouts throughout March. Once back home, I felt at loose ends. I signed up for a 5K at the end of the month to stay motivated. Still…

Yesterday I completed an indoor triathlon: 10 minute swim, 20 min stationary bike, 15 min run. My Coros watch's estimated calories burned: 800+. The bikes were new and different from the ones at my usual gym; I spent nearly half of the bike time getting used to the changes. Oddly, the treadmill run was my favorite part. I…

About to check in for an indoor triathlon but it is thundering and lightning --very very frightening -- outside. I wonder if that is going to delay the 8 o'clock start time or if they will skip the swim.

45-47 minutes on the exercise bike today for a 10 mile ride. Also 5 min Helix trainer, 10 minutes or so weights and battle ropes. 20 min walking outside. Tomorrow: only walking. Friday: same.

28 -- ha! I knew it. :) Also saw your informative response post about cortisol levels from over-exercising on another thread. Standing here in my kitchen, both shins hurting for the third day on a row, and I know one thing: after the indoor triathlon this Saturday, I'm going to back off a bit on training.

A great report @AnnPT77. Getting in some sessions with a personal trainer for lifting and muscle imbalance correction sounds awesome. Wow: a RHR of 46. That's like an elite male triathlete. I wonder what your "age" actually is: it can't be 69!!!!

Good questions Ann. I ran again on the treadmill this morning, mostly a 5 mph pace, for 22 min. A few minutes at 4.8, a few at 5.3 mph, then 10 minutes of walking at 3.2. My watch says I spent a couple of minutes with a HR at or above 170, surprising since I didn't think this run was that strenuous. Usually I don't run 2…

Exercise: a brick workout today: 22 min. on the exercise bike, going about as fast as I can (4.5 miles in 20 min). Five min. break to change from biking to running shoes and catch my breath, then on to the treadmill, for 16 min. at mostly 5.5 mph pace (a couple of those min. at 6.5, a few min. at the beginning at 5.2),…

Pool swim today: 300 meters in first 10 min, total of 750 in 24 min.

@drmwc I read your story on the Dive Forum and shuddered. I have some questions (and also can't believe a paramedic stopped the 111 call). I don't know much about diving, except two of my uncles were into the hobby in Florida years ago: I remember they liked Morrison Springs with its underwater cave full of eels, or so the…

Rest day today but my teens wanted to hit the gym. How could I say no? My legs are sore, so I walked 22 minutes on the treadmill, first 12-15 at 3 mph, a 4%incline that faded out to no incline eventually. Then 20min of stretching with pigeon pose, Superman, leg lunges, etc. Also 15 minutes walking outside. Today the trees,…

Actually, for supper I had a slice of thin crust cheese and a cheese breadstick. I tell myself I don't like pizza but if it is hot on the table, well, I won't be reheating leftovers.

Exercise. My planned brick workout morphed into a 20min ex bike ride and treadmill walking because I left my running shoes at home. Also strength training, 60 min total in the gym. Nutrition. Two black teas, a Quest cookie, a spoonful of Mac n cheese, half a pluot so far. Oh, and 3 Oreo Thins. Probably will eat a leftover…

Today I rode the stationary bike at the gym for 20 minutes, covering 4.5 miles. I left my water bottle in the car by mistake and felt its absence. Then 16 minutes on the treadmill (also left my running shoes at home --I am tired) for 10 minutes at 3. 0 mph, 5% incline and 5 minutes at 3.2mph, and one slow cool down min.…

Overall Thoughts on Today : Today was a good day, same results with my diet as the rest of the week, ate nice and clean with no cheating or breaks. I still feel like I need to get better rest. The reported hours on my watch I feel are definitely not accurate. I was going through your entries and had that exact thought…

Exercise: I completed a short and fast swim in a lake today because my gym's pool is out of commission until May. It was brutally cold and I should have worn my wetsuit instead of toughing it out. In 8.5 min. of active swimming my watch logged me at 607 yards, or 555 meters. That's remarkable given my pool swim last week…

I follow several pro triathletes on Instagram, including Sam Long and Lionel Sanders, who are friends IRL. When Lionel posted some mega-workout, Sam quipped that his goal was to do more than that on his rest day. As the kids say, you are "giving" Sam Long. :) ****** I also swam today. My gym's pool is undergoing repairs, a…

Easiest for me: getting a Quest peanut butter protein bar out of my pantry. Instant 20 g. protein and only 1 g. sugar, 200 calories.

A Quest double chocolate protein cookie, black tea with milk, a clementine an hour later.

My workouts from the last 2 days are listed under the TLFC thread. In short, 32 minutes ex bike yesterday (mostly 15 mph) and 32 min treadmill today, mostly at a 5 mph pace.
