I also have fatty liver and a heightened cholesterol which is being treated with tablets. So I have a few things going on.

Thank you, very helpful :-)

Looks like I'll have to

Just got the results of my blood test. I only just have diabetes (mild diabetes) and if I eat low fat, low sugar and low carbs for three months I can reverse it. I'm not sure how I can eat in a way that is filling/satisfying over that time, its going to be hard giving up bacon and cheese etc.

I feel inspired by your posts! I always read what you have to say.
-
That sounds rough! The results sound good though.

I measure out how much I want to eat, than track it in my diary. If I don't finish it, I eat it the next day and don't track it, as it's already been counted/tracked for the previous day.

For those concerned about me (thank you), I had a blood test today, to check for diabetes.

I was at the doctor, talking about my weight and getting metformin increased, and my mother started going on about my parallel thinking and about how sometimes I am completely focused on eating 100% pure and how other times the autism kicks in (I have mild Aspergers) and I want to eat back my exercise calories with junk…

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow

I've pretty much lost 4kg in 4 days because I've been sick and food has pretty much gone right through me. I'm not looking forward to putting it all back on. It was probably water or something.

I prelogged popcorn, cola and m&ms today and nearly didn't eat them because they didn't fit into my calories. I ended up eating half as much chocolate. I felt proud leaving the supermarket, because I would usually have 3x as much junk food and eat it in one night, but it was a lot more calorific than I was expecting.

This is really hard to do in summer! I'm not a big fan of the treadmill. The one at home slips a bit under my feet and freaks me out.
-
I haven't actually started doing this, I didn't know how to implement it, so I am basically counting calories but trying to make most better choices. Turns out, its really easy to go over your daily allotment.

Now my Aunty's attacking me because she saw me having yoghurt and fruit with Marshmellows and chocolate and says no diet let's you eat like that and I'm never going to lose weight!!! So much stupid. I've lost 2kg this week. l'm so sick of other people at this point. My mother had a go at me as well. Now my Aunty is on the…

I got put on metformin to have alongside my meds and it has prevented me from gaining weight.

Fun game. Today someone guessed I was 18, another person 23 and another 26. I'm 31 :-D

Got fish and chips for dinner, had tomato juice instead of coke and had salad with half as many chips. Filled in my day with walking instead of napping.
-
No, not fudging the numbers, readjusting them to fit the calories (you only eat that many).
-
When the salad thing came up I got defensive and said '' it's my body and I'll do what I want with it''. Not very mature. I'm in my 30s now though so my choices should be respected.

My family doesn't believe in me. Doesn't think I'll ever find love, have a successful career, fit into a size 12 or smaller. My niece offered me a beautiful size 12 dress for when I get close to goal, and my mother said I will never fit into it. My niece and I am the same height but she has much bigger curves than me so…

People from other dimensions and other versions of ourselves. A bigger planet to hold all animals and people that have ever lived, except for things like snakes. A big garden with heaps of fruit and veges for everyone to share. Enough space for everyone who wants a mansion and their own land. A day for each person to be…

All the stuff I couldn't afford here. A home gym, walk in wardrobe, a home library and a home theatre with all the dvds I like. A home cafe restaurant with booth seating. Libraries for toys, cars, gadgets etc that you can swap when you get bored with something.
