Best advice I can give a yo-yo dieter, like I was, is just to not quit. If you have a bad meal or bad day just get right back on track right away. Don't let going off-plan derail your chances for success.

Does anyone have any night sweat remedies other than black cohosh? It doesn't seem to be working well for me any longer and I'm really suffering. I'm waking up many times at night and sleeping less and less. (Apologies for the detail!)

I've wondered about this before. I find my plant based meals very filling, if I had to eat them all in a smaller eating window I wouldn't be able to get enough calories or nutrients probably. So yeah I won't be using IF anytime soon.

I added rosemary and thyme to my falafel mix, made large balls and added them to my pasta sauce. They were so good!

My belly. I'm 50, had 2 kids and spent the last 10 years being obese. Since losing 57 pounds my stomach is so much smaller. Sure I still have a bit of fat and some lose skin. But I don't care. I walk around in belly shirts cause I can't stop staring at it. Lol.

Fwiw, I read that some countries make falafel from fava beans. I would use chickpeas because I'm more familiar with them. Love the idea of adding picked veg - sounds like a nice compliment.

I think I heard that breakfast being the most important meal of the day was brilliant marketing from a cereal company. If you want to intermittent fast and it helps you stay within your goal then do that. It can be a great tool for staying within a calorie deficit, if you are trying to lose weight.

I whipped up some from cannellini beans. Realized I was out of vanilla so I used some cream cheese flavor. It tasted awful. I'm gonna make some beans today so I will save some water, boil it down and try again with vanilla.

I'll tell you the same thing I told my 50 year old husband. Take it slow and don't increase your weekly mileage too fast. He didn't listen and ended up with a calf injury that kept him from running for months.

I've only had one and it was the cotton candy flavor. I couldn't even drink it cause I thought it tasted so awful.

As an avid hiker I'm gonna say that any additional burn from using hiking poles is gonna be pretty low. That doesn't mean that it won't have some benefit. I would agree with using an additional 10% as stated above.

Just because someone knows about or uses aquafaba does not mean they are vegan. I'm actually not a vegan. You are making an assumption based on someone not using eggs. For the record, vegans do eat foods other than vegetables.

Thanks for the responses! I'm in shock that you have both made meringue with this bean water and they worked. I've got to try this right away. (Although meringue can be finicky for me during 100 degree weather). And what about taste @BarbaraHelen2013 and @kemoon0915? Was there any hint of bean flavor?
