My goal weight is still about 25 pounds higher than the recommended BMI. But I can live with that. The app says I should be eating 1600 calories, but I seem to be averaging 2,000, except for the one day when I was starving. Hence the post.

I wouldn't say I'm having trouble with them, it's just that I'm self insured and dont make enough for a huge rate hike. With the political climate being the way it is the protections for pre-existing conditions aren't solidified enough for me to trust yet. They could be overturned tomorrow. As for the hospital, it's not…

If I wasnt ready to start taking it seriously, I wouldn't be here.

How can you tell the difference?

So what are your options if there's no place like that within an 8 hr drive? I have no intention of taking off work for it. And the truth is I really dont want my insurance company to know. (So getting together that kind of money is a factor too) and I'm still not convinced it's worth it (or rather that it will work.)

This is why I'm trying to loose the weight. I doubt I'll feel any better/not waking up exhausted until I do. But weight only comes off so fast, and it's not that fast. I'm just trying to figure out a way to keep my energy levels up until it happens.

I dont see how they could possibly find the right reason. It seems like there could be a million of them, and we dont have those kinds of specialists down here. I don't go to doctors unless I'm sick, so maybe I am unfamiliar with what's possible. I do know my thyroid, sugars and blood pressure are all fine. Those I had…

My cousin does keto for health reasons. He's autistic. (And I mean actually autistic, not aspergers) it works for him. He's calmer and has fewer seizures.

Yes, I love lunch. My office does understand that 30 minutes isn't enough time to eat the food, only to get the food, so no one cares if we eat at our desks.

Thanks everyone. I wanted to clarify; I am on my first week, and I've gone over every day. The 67 over calorie day was the closest I've come. I've set a goal for 1lb a week. Which obviously won't happen this week. Theres no way I could continue feeling like I did that day. I dont diet, I've never dieted, so I'm not sure…

I just bought premium. I love it. It shows you the breakdown of which foods have which macro nutrients so you know what to adjust. Example: procuto was not the fattest thing I ate today, and I thought it would be.

Can,t really trust it. On any given day mine varies by 5lb. Maybe I'm standing on it wrong. And I know at the doctors I'm 5-10 lb heavier.

Thanks. That is good advice. :)

The truth is I dont like to eat that much when it comes to plants. Vegitables are increadably bitter and I can't eat berries melons or citrus because of allergies. But the app did help me realize I eat too much carbs fat and sugar. I kind of knew that already. But theres a difference between thinking you know and actually…
