Dill pickles, ultimate garlic. Pickled eggs. Thin slices salami...

Merry Christmas from Toronto!

It's always my tongue that causes over eating. Stomach can be full and the tongue is still clamoring for flavor... Typical addiction.

Nice slab of pan fried salmon or trout makes a great breakfast. :)

Just have to avoid the flavored versions of hard alcohol. Many of them use added sugar for the flavor. I do vodka, sparkling water, and a squirt of liquid water enhancer. (Mio) Zero carb. A few calories in the alcohol. And all the flavors you can find.

Pickle juice is a great source of extra sodium. I just sip at it....

Be sure to take a look at stuff online for recipes and meal plans. Search on Diet Doctor to get started. Tons of stuff on You Tube as well. Best of luck to you...

I bought a bottle of MCT oil. Used a tsp in coffee till it was gone. Didn't notice any difference in any way. Except it made my coffee taste greasy. Not gonna bother again.

I just call a carb, a carb. Feels like I'm trying to cheat by only looking at the net. ;)

I've had no luck with breads. Tried several recipes, and read a dozen others. Every one is low carb, but double or more calories when compared to plain old bread. Some taste ok, but a corned beef sandwich can equal all of my calories for the whole day. Need something that is Low Carb and Low Cal. That seems impossible. :/

Real whole foods. Prepare them yourself. Freeze a week ahead. Mostly meat. Above ground vegetables. Microwave at work. No bread, rice, pasta, root vegetables, starches. Stay away from all sugars. Cheers

It's easy to quit smoking. Just never ever have another one. Very difficult to just quit eating. That's why the food cravings are so much harder. Selective Addiction, I like to call it.

Good luck.

Focus on the meat. Eat less of the other stuff.

Chicken wings. No breading. Dry rubs like Cajun or sea salt black pepper. Fat and protein. No wet sauce = no carbs... One of my go to foods in restaurants.

The other option is an air fryer.

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3. I was in the cardiologists office and we compared it to the chest strap he was using. 4 readings. My Garmin was within ONE bpm. Every time.
