Had a good Mother's Day with my kids and granddaughter here for dinner and my sister and her husband stopping in on their way from Florida to Connecticut. Stayed busy all day and did not check in here - sorry to end MT streak but . . . Today spent with my sister walking lots and catching up.

Having a fun time travelling with my daughter and her friend. We stopped in Baltimore Harbor for a day - great place to visit - then spent a few days with my Mom in Mass. Saw lots of family and checked out the old neighborhood. Yesterday we were in NYC and walked a lot over 15000 steps - usual is around 6000. Back to home…

pacsnc6 Thursdays pw: 153.4 cw: 153.2 I may need to skip weigh in next week as I will be away from home. If I find a scale I will weigh in. I will start adding up my steps too.

pacsnc6 week ? Thursday check in PW: 154.7 CW: 153.4 I expect my weight will bounce for a few weeks until my stomach really settles down from the radiation treatments. I am almost two weeks out from the final treatment so thought I should get back into the swing of things here.

@minstrelofsarcasm I'm ready to come back to the group. My weight this morning is 154.7 and I think that would be a good starting point. I will weigh in on Thursdays.

One food with no calories? Chocolate anything of course!

@IDebraK congrats for staying within your goal range. Up and down a pound or two is to be expected but can feel annoying. Keep up the good work and enjoy life.

Went to see "The British Invasion" at DPAC last night. Great show - highly recommend seeing it for anyone

Off to a good start this month. I am down almost another pound this week, though I am not officially weighing in until April after I finish my radiation treatments. Saw the oncologist this morning and she is happy with my progress and says I seem to be handling it very well. Feels good to hear that. I have only minor side…

Had my eighth radiation treatment today. So far, good with few side effects. I do have some pain where the pressure plate is pressed into my abdomen just below the diaphragm, could be a bruise or inflammation. Just 17 more to go! Congrats to all the losers and maintainers here. Keep on keepin on

Week one of radiation is done! It was not what I expected but I was glad that the time spent there got a bit shorter each day. I guess as I learn how to position myself and stay still it gets easier all around. I had only one day - the first of course - with nausea and vomiting afterwards thank goodness. I get the weekend…
-
Day 1 of radiation went well except for the nausea and vomiting a few hours later. Needless to say, I did not eat a lot all day so the scale dropped a couple points overnight. No I will not count that. Back for day #2 and on.

Week 2 weigh in pw: 160 Cw: 160.2 Bummer! I was at 159.8 yesterday @minstrelofsarcasm I am starting the radiation treatments next week. Being uncertain what the effects will be on my appetite etc I think I should move to the cheer squad for the next six weeks at least I will try to check in here most days to keep up with…

Hi my name is Patsy and I've been in this group for a few years. My original goal was to get down to 145 but cancer hit and the doctors wanted me to maintain (close to 160). I have managed to lose and gain about 5 pounds - you know the yo yo drill. I was diagnosed with liver cancer one week before Covid shut everything…
