OK, now I know when I dropped my phone in a puddle. Total lack of motivation caused me to not put MFP back on my phone and now I am needing to get back in the groove. My Color Street nails last 2-3 weeks on my hands and a pedi lasts 6. Not bad for $11-13 per set. Hope everyone is well and happy.

I got my second dose on 1/15. Husband is still waiting, but should be getting his soon because he works for a company that makes food packaging so TN has put him in tier 2a. Tier 1b is people over 65. Teachers acroos the state were vaccinated on 2/12 & 13 on orders from the governor even though they are 1c. Also, I haven't…

Confession, my new nails are peel & stick polish. I am not sure how I feel about them. I can't get the picture to upload from my phone while I am waiting for the 14yo at school. I will put it on my feed if you want to see.

Good luck, Nicole. We are vaccinating 70+ and teachers right now. My husband should be in the next group.

My coworkers who got Moderna had worse side effects second time around. "Take Tylenol or Advil while you are in the line." has been their advice.

I got my first dose on 12/29 & my second on 1/15. I had a sore arm from #1 and felt like I was catching a cold for 3 - 4 days with #2. I am capable of doing patient facing CNA care (though I would have to retest for my license, which I haven't used in forever) and I know every front end registration job in the system, so…

I like the holidays, but not most people's attitude about them. Burlap is for barns and live Christmas trees make me sick. There, I mostly agreed with you.

OH, no, Tami. That's awful!! And, we're all here for the crap and I am sorry I missed this for two weeks. When I say I'm buried at work, I mean it and so of course I added buying a house to my to do list. How is the job hunt? On the positive side, someone else is reading the child porn now.

I don't think so. Mindfulness is really helpful for a lot of things. Maybe especially food

Congratulations!!!

Y'all, Denni and I made an offer on a house in my hometown. We've lived in his for 28 + years, first because his grandmother was alone here and it was between our jobs, then because our kids had started school and my job was here. Now his job is there and mine is in our very small house. And since my dad died, we have the…

Becky, I am sorry, but not sure I am surprised. I think you are going to be stronger when it's over. Call or text anytime. I mean that. And definitely, we'll meet for chocolate soon.

I just guilt tripped my entire department by email and I am not sorry. Since my job moved to Ensemble, we have been contract employees of the hospital I used to work in. I go into the hospital about once a month. The week my dad died, the hospital made a decision to close employee break rooms. (Even the nursing staff has…

It's very hard to be Daddy's Girl without Daddy, Nicole. I am doing my best to hang in there, but a lot of days that's not very well. Thanks for checking on me and getting Becky to text me. That booted my butt back to Barre class tonight. Exercise is the world's most underutilized antidepressant. It was easy to social…

Don't give up. If you did it once you can do it again.

I never it made it back to confess about falling apart, but the 28th was worse. It was a month ago. I can't believe it. I spent some time with my vrother this morning and I am feeling better.
-
I'm not. I fell completely apart yesterday. I promise to come back and talk it out later. Thanks for caring. I came in to let y'all know that a Grand Jury finally indicted the mother of the baby that was missing here in February and early March. They found the body on March 6th and we were finally able to convene a live…

Thanks, Becky and Patricia and Tha KS, Nicole for updating here. My cousin Alesha says that losing her dad was the worst experience of her life to date. I can honestly say that so far it's been better than when mom died because a) it was such a shock and b) my kids are old enough to understand what's happening. There's…

Let's wait until fall. The leaves will be pretty and we may even have a vaccine for the monster virus.

Thanks. I am going to need that chocolate cake soon.

Confession: last Tuesday, when we got word that Daddy had Covid, I knew it was a death sentence. None of my brothers believed me. My stupid brother who takes him to the doctor most of the time never stays in the room and listens to what they're saying or asks questions. I do and then he doesn't believe me because the…

We finally got Dad moved to the VA hospital yesterday. He has severe pneumonia, and I didn't have the heart to ask the doctor I talked to last night what he thought his chance of recovery is. We did light the nursing home up because they didn't send dad's current medication list to the hospital. My dad is on sliding scale…

Prayers and positive thoughts please. My 87 year old dad has Covid. We are trying to get him transferred from isolation at his nursing home to the VA hospital today. He is 100% service disabled and his social worker is onboard, it just may not happen until tomorrow.

She has a year and we move her into her own apartment near the university on the 24th of July, Nicole. It's like $20 more / month than a shared university apartment and she has control of who comes in and out.

Crazy, mediocre ride... it's good to see you

French Broad Chocolate is still there and I can be there in less than two hours. #Enabling

Confession: if my 26 year old can't move back to school soon I may lose my mind. She swears she cleans up after herself and I keep finding pots and pans she gets out, but doesn't use, on my kitchen counters every day.

I have been working mostly from home since March 27. I love it.

Me, too! I'm not judging Spam for jusging this neighbor. (I am an essential worker and so is my husband and we stay home all the time except for work and essential shopping.)
