  • I agree with you; I don't often spend calories on beverages. I try to stick to water and coffee. I'll have the occasional almond milk latte if I'm feeling frisky, though.

  • Thank you for the information.
  • I'm in a similar boat. I managed to get back down to what I weighed senior year of high school, but I'm still overweight by BMI standards. I'd like to fall somewhere in the middle of the BMI "healthy weight" scale, but several people have told me "you don't need to lose any more weight." It certainly doesn't help when…
  • Thank you all! Especially this commenter for being so thorough lol
  • Thank you for your help! I do have access to a kitchen; I'm just on a tight budget so I'm still learning what I can and can't do in terms of cooking meals for myself now that I'm living on my own.
  • Same, girl. I would love to know what reverse dieting is! I'll look it up. And I'm sorry for not clarifying; my issue with soup is that it's so high in sodium. Everyone makes good points! I guess I was mostly looking for low-calorie food that helps you feel fuller longer. Also; I don't like beans but I try to eat them just…
  • So much this! I've been sitting at 1200-1400 calories for a while now, and lost 35 lbs (then gained like 7 when I started working out and it has yet to come off). I finally decided after a lot of reading that I wasn't eating enough and increased to 1600 daily. That was about a week ago. As a side note, I eat relatively…
  • @gdesousa_93, forgive me -- what is TDEE? Also, I've been trying to eat more in order to reach my daily calorie goals lately. I usually don't eat that much because I'm busy and feel full fairly quickly. I've read on several sites that undereating can actually make it difficult to lose weight, because the body stores what…
  • Height: 5'5" HW: 186 lbs CW 155 lbs GW: 130 lbs End of Nov Goal Weight: 152 lbs Managed to get down to 149, but shot up when I got my new job. I've been working hard at going to the gym (not hard workouts because I'm out of shape, working my way into the workout world). I really want to be back to 149 by Christmas time and…
  • Hello, all! Sorry about not responding sooner! I've never had/used a food scale, but I might have to study up on those and maybe ask for one for Christmas. I try not to cheat and usually don't struggle with it; this weekend was pretty difficult as I went out with friends a couple of times and I'm in a pretty physical show…
