  • The doctor who diagnosed me only pushes steroids and other heavy duty meds. He does not believe in diet or leaky gut. Even a functional medicine doctor told me it's not diet related. I'm unconvinced.
  • Healing your gut can take a year or more. Rice is not gluten so he should be able to eat that. I have psoriasis. Eliminated dairy, alcohol, and a bunch of other stuff. I eat protein / fruit / veggies and take probiotics and other supplements. I have a post if you care to check it out. I'm eating more now than ever before…
  • I've asked my internist, my dermatologist, my oncologist, my surgeon, my gynecologist, my dentist, a functional medicine practioner and my psychiatrist....none of them believe in leaky gut. Sick of the steroids and other meds. Looking to heal with a (mostly) plant based diet. :-)
  • Yes! I do and just created a post about it. Doctors don't believe in leaky gut (at least everyone I've been to doesn't). I have psoriasis. I understand it takes at least a year to heal your gut.
