I am 60 and I have lost over 20 pounds in the past 3 months. You can do it using MFP and track your calories and exercise. I eat chocolate or ice cream every day. I just fit it into my calorie goals. When it comes to weight loss, age is nothing but a number. Good luck!

Too much booze and baked goods. I am a good baker and enjoy it. What I have learned to do is to continue baking, but share the majority of what I bake with others. That, and I was inconstant about working out. Still working on that last part.

Hi. I am 5'10" and currently weigh 175 LB and I have abut 10 pounds until goal. I am just at the point that I can wear US size 10 and medium tops. I have done weight lifting over the years, but not enough to really make a difference.

I weigh daily first thing in the morning. I also use Happy Scale to track trends.

Hi. I am vegan, and one thing I do to get protein is to make overnight oats and add a bit of protein powder to them. Also. tofu and tempeh are good sources of protein. You can find recipes for them on many vegan/vegetarian sites. Sometime I make veggie burgers that combine tofu and beans.

I overate and drank during the holidays and did gain about 1.5 pounds. After the holidays, I just stopped booze and sweets and now I'm back on track. It wasn't really hard for me at all.

My knees don't hurt anymore when I use the stairs. That is from losing 15 pounds.

I gained about 1.5 pounds during the holidays, but as of today I am back on track. I don't regret the Christmas cookies one bit.

Zucchini and Bok Choy. Kale I can handle if its cooked with other things, but raw in salads no thanks.

I'm in! This is day 3 for me and I plan to keep it up this weekend.

I gained 1 lb in December. I worked out until Dec. 24th but I was lazy while on vacation. Not too much damage considering how many sweets I ate during Christmas week.

I am in for dry January. Thanks!

As was I. WFPB is not a magic bullet. CICO still counts.

I agree. Also, I'd rather have collards or mustard greens over kale in any form.

I make overnight oats with soy milk, flax, and berries. I eat that for breakfast every day that I work.

Feel fre to add me as well and best of luck to you!

I like to make a big batch of no-oil chilli and serve it over a baked potato. Most times I cook up some greens to add to the mix. Also, I make curries with various veggies and beans to have over brown rice. Since I don't use oil, even eating potatoes keeps the calorie count low.

I have a WFPB diet and it is working for me. Feel free to add me.
