Whooo hoooo - how long has it been?

Can we talk boots?? I took a before picture of me trying to zip up a really cute pair of boots. Once my legs are slimmer I'm hoping there will be an "after" pick of my legs, where I can zip the boots up, hehehe.

So what are you going to do differently this time that you did not do before? Consider getting a seperate wellness coach or friends in the physical world also - vice virtual to help keep you accountable.

Feedback on this process: Just to let you know, I found the instructions quite complicated - I pressed the join button, but could not follow the instructions that followed after that, so I left the group. Where to post my information was complicated....there were posts from quite a long time ago, and I didnt' see where to…

Thanks! I imagine regular weigh ins will be key, and if any movement beyond 5 pounds, to jump back on the train.

Hi Carlo, perhaps we are all sleep deprived, so you are not alone. I don't understand the weight measures as I'm on the other side of the pond. What I can say is that logging all your food and coming up with a plan allows you to control what you are eating for a positive result and to stick to it. Start by setting up your…

Just found that a can of artichokes in water is 50 cals for the can. I bought four.

It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change log everything and continue your journey, we all have days that go over, but some that go under our calorie goals.
-
Fantastic - congratulations!! Way to go!! How long were you dedicated to doing it. Did you use MFP regularly for logging? Any tips for success?
-
Wow.....what was the hardest part and what kept you focused.
-
I’m curious - what is it you must eat. I’m envisioning like eyeball fish soup or something. At work when people heat up fish the smell gets to me.
-
I made a mistake not realizing the bag was 9 cups, not three - wishful thinking - ha, I have now corrected my logging as of last week. Explains some.

Sounds like she just didn’t have the interest, I don’t think her response was aimed at you, more her lack of desire.
-
I hope you are joking, instead you might say that you consistently have to work at it and it’s outside your calorie range.

I bought some turkey bacon, have not tried it yet. Maybe do potatoes with turkey bacon and chives with jalapeños
-
Do you mean like bacon bits?

Is there a certain brand of dressing you use?

The cranberries are very high in sugar. But I think that yes....the snacking adds to extra weight if it’s like extra snack g on top of what you should be eating. By tracking I realize I’ve been consuming at least twice my portion size. hence why I started I was 236 when I should be 150. Snacks matter if they are the excess…

Well welcome back to the band wagon. Let’s do it! Again.

I was wondering same, I have extra skin there and quite a few more to go.
-
Eat with new friends :)
-
I'll check it out

I think if you track 6 months would do it at a steady pace. I’m at 20 right now, hoping for 16 by end of feb.
-
Fantastic, how many weeks have you been at it
-
Oh you might need to be more specific on your goal for type of snack.

So I just made these today. I had a lot of fruit pairs that we're going to go into fruit baskets but wouldn't last long as they were too ripe when delivered this past weekend. So today I peeled and cooked them down. Added lime juice/zest, Cinnamon, little pumpkin spice, and a few natural cherries and 2 Splenda brown sugar…

Awesome!! That's a great idea. My whole milk yogurt, I only use now as a topping since it was 160 cals for a small container 1/2 cup I think - that did surprise me. I cook fresh beats and cube them, so maybe don't eat so much of them that they add up much. Oysters and Crab wow....hmm I'll have to look that up.
-
I’m only eating it once a week now. Hard for me to control those portions. 2 oz is a tease :)
-
yep, I’ve probably been doing similar 2500-3000 (previously). I’m almost hitting 40 days tracking , and 11 lbs down,

That sounds like you had a rough year, glad you are here on mfp!
