i could have done better at dinner, but did great at breakfast. Had a few too many glasses of Proseco, but did somewhat ok on the desserts. Got on the scale, and this morning I was down a lb :)

It sounds like you're a tough cookie, and thats great. But, not everyone is. It doesn't make it sad either, it's just different for everyone. Sorry to hear about the health issues and hope they get resolved.

This sounds like, vasovagal drop....I probably butchered the spelling. I had this a lot in my late teens early 20s, doctor said what everyone else did: eat more salt, caffeine. If your tests come back ok, try to add an extra cup of coffee to your day!

Why 500? I fast, mostly 16:8, but sometimes 20:4. But I always eat the 1200ish

maybe some self care things in the meantime, treat yourself by getting your nails done, or something you enjoy. It is paramount!

I only come here to see the hate for IF. I love it, I've also noticed that it's helped with digestive issues that I have. Genoa me stay in my cals, I feel like I have more energy. I'm happy on it!

I happen to think that having a wide breadth of studies, negative and positive, are helpful. There are positive ones in there. If I just wanted POSITIVE I would have changed my boolean query...instead, I used a very unbiased 'intermittent fasting'.

I try not to weigh myself daily because: A) I'll be disappointed if I don't lose B) I act like an addict. If I do lose I behave as though it was easy, and that breaking my calories will be easy to bounce back from. Which it never is. I try for weekly just to make sure I'm on the right track and for a bit of motivation

I think it's odd that we eat meat at all. We think we are so smart that we condemn other cultures for eating animals like dogs. As if their lives are more important than a cow, which is revered in other cultures? Obvious points, but points nonetheless. Btw...I eat meat (or should I say, "animals")

I have barely looked into research. That being said, I don't experience stomach pains anymore. I think eating my calories in 2 meals close in proximity is definitely doing something to my digestive system. But I've only been at this for a few weeks so I will report back.

By this thinking, no one food is bad for you. Just like food can poison is it can rejuvenate us. Not in the ways we always want, and moderation is best, but don't throw out the notion that some foods actually are "super" foods.
