Congratulations on the life you've built! Sending love from a fellow queer Midwestern woman!

Agreed with everything Emma said. It's a cliche, but small changes over time really do build up. Two years ago, I was a person who made an at-home cafe mocha every morning, but now I've been happily drinking black coffee for a year and mochas are too sweet for my palette. Maybe make a few changes for non-weigjt reasons, so…

I like friends with open diaries for that same reason, and it's the reason I have one. Feel free to add me!

1/4-1/2 cup oats 1 mashed banana As much apple pie spice as you'd like Some walnuts (Microwaved) Usually under 300 calories and the only recipe I've found where I wasn't missing added sugars. To add a vegetable element, I'll pop in a couple tablespoons of sweet potato too (I keep it in the freezer, parceled out in…

Missed periods can be harmless, but they can also be a sign of very serious health concerns, including things unrelated to weight loss. I'd echo the call of others saying to consult a doctor.

Very similar to you: I round up to 5 ft, started at 184, currently at 163. My first goal is 150, then I'll maintain for a while and decide if I want to go farther. If you're happy and comfortable at 150, then that sounds like a good goal for you!

I'm very much an eater like you. My strategy recently has been to incorporate vegetables in sneaky ways. Adding mashed sweet potato into oatmeal, shredded zucchini or spaghetti squash into pasta, etc. Curry is also great for hiding objectionable vegetables.

Have you checked yourself for diastasis recti? That's something that can happen with pregnancy where the tissue connecting your abs stretches, making your stomach jut out and weakening your core. There are plenty of guides online that show you how to check yourself for it.

I'd love some more friends with open diaries for the exchange of meal ideas! I'm not hugely interactive or motivational, but I do have an open diary and will post every once in a while about how I'm trying to improve my food intake

You deserve to give yourself all sorts of grace when it comes to relearning how to be a human again. Park time is great, if you have one close enough by. I started walking about 3/4 of a mile with a stroller to our park when my baby was 7 months old, and now we go every day. He adores it and we both get exercise . It's…

My newest technique: roasting sweet potatoes and freezing the mash into 2 tablespoon cubes to add to oatmeal.

Enjoy the jam! The only oatmeal with no added sugar I've ever been able to enjoy is oats + mashed banana + apple pie spice (+ nut or vegetables, etc). Plenty sweet and delicious!
