Thanks for all the love! 1) Yes you have to work on all the head stuff and find new ways to cope. I now look at food as fuel and not an emotional crutch. 2) I aim for around 50g carbs a day. As I get closer to maintenance rather than losing, I have just started allowing myself some fruit and lower carb bread options…

I have some excess skin but not a lot. I attribute that to working out frequently!

I’m almost 11 months post op and have lost 145 pounds since then, the rest was on my own/pre op. So 18 months.

Thank you everyone! I had the gastric sleeve surgery for those asking. They take out about 80% of your original stomach, allowing me to consume very small portions.
