That's not true, there are foods that are bad for you, and soda and alcohol are tops on the lost along with trans fats. Yes will lose weight with a deficit, but that doesn't mean your healthy.

I have lost 42lbs since October, and my wife has lost 65 since July. She used optavia with no gym time, and I tracked my calories and worked out 4 times a week. I'm 37 she's 31. Just take it one step at a time and never get discouraged.
