I have one and have used it for 2 years now. It's a Charge 2 with a lot of "bells and whistles". I only use it for steps, heart rate and the stairs measurement. All the other stuff I don't touch. I purchase seltzer water. It's the no calorie, no sugar, no salt, no caffeine seltzer water. I purchase the Polar brand which I like the best but there are a number of seltzers to buy. I feel like you have a really solid plan. Are you currently logging your food? If yes, are you planning on logging while on vacation? That might be a good move because restaurant food is sneaky and high in calories. Have a great time on your vacation.

I agree with liz0269. We just all eat so much more. Portions are bigger, all you can eat, drive thru, etc.

Did you try hummus to replace your dip? There are a huge variety of flavors too. The other things that works for me instead of soda and plain water is seltzer water. I like the lemon flavor but there are a variety of flavors you can get. I like the Polar brand the best. Coke has their Bubbly brand and a number of others…

I make it in a pan. I like things easy so I put a little butter, lemon and pepper in the pan. Cook on both sides using a medium heat until done. Viola, it's really good.

I love celeriac, turnups, beets, potatoes, carrots and parsnips. Cut them all in about 1 inch squares. Toss in olive oil - add a little salt and pepper. In a 390-400 degree oven - viola. Wonderful.

Excellent job on cutting back on the liquid calories. I too cut soda out. I switched to water which is fine but one day I was listening to someone who loved seltzer water (no sugar, no salt, no junk, no calories). I purchased a 12 pack of the Polar brand and loved it.
