  • I’ve been slack in posting my runs but did the park run last Saturday & struggled. Many walk breaks & I stupidly didn’t take water ‘because it’s only 5k’.   • Lol @nikkiwolf it sure sucks. The house is already warm in the morning and I already get super hot when I run so it’s just not happening this week I think. At least until the cool change of 35 arrives on Friday! 😜. Hope your knee improves 😀
  • Today it had been 41 degrees C (105 ish F) and getting hotter and my energy is gone so this mornings planned dreadmill 4K ended up being a walk. I can live with that. Seriously our state is being boiled. Some towns had 49C/120F it’s crazy 🥵 31/50 km done. Beer o’clock ✅ Send snow stat!!
  • Another 5km park run today and it sucked. Hot windy and dusty and I reminded myself to just do the distance. So I did a run/walk/run and felt better for it. Still beaten by older runners but at least I passed the guy with a walking stick 👍 January challenge 50km 26/50 in the turtle bank 🏃🏼‍♀️🐢
  • Another slow sweaty 4km in the bank this morning. Didn’t feel the joy but slogged through it. Still lapping those on the couch though I guess 😀. Jan goal 50km 21/50 (almost halfway!!) Great to have this challenge and am in awe of what some of you youngsters do 👏👏
  • Run no 4 done this morning on the dreadmill. Walked a bit due to niggles in a hammy and top of one foot but another 4K in the bank. This challenge has got me on the treadmill at 0530 and it’s been a few months since that’s happened. Trying to lose a few kg’s before eating my way through Finland! 17/50km completed ✅
