You will have SOOOOO MUCH ENERGY. Because of this, you'll find yourself going to bed late. It presents a PERFECT opportunity to cheat & binge eat late at night. So either find a suitable distraction, or force yourself to go to bed.

It takes a brave and strong person to admit when things aren't right, get off the couch, set goals, and put your wants into action. You are NOT a failure. But it is a struggle. If it were easy, then 60% of our nation wouldn't be considered obese.

Got through a full circuit ab workout. First time in over five years. Lower back hurt like hell..... but I just gritted my teeth, and got thru it.

I have to do something about my abs. I HATE abs workouts. But it had to be done. I picked six exercises that I could reasonably do. Put on some heavy music -- "NOLA" album, from Down. Hope my neighbors enjoyed it. Got on the garage floor w/carpet remnant. Did the work.

Dude, all of that weight didn't go on overnight. You didn't wake up one morning, and like, "OMG.... I'm suddenly obese!" The weight went on gradually. It will come off the same way.

I had to stop drinking SODA! Omigawd, soda is THE DEVIL. One can of Mountain Dew = 300 calories. You could have a WHOLE MEAL for that caloric intake! Empty calories will get you every time.

Today -- Bought smaller plates. (( hear me out )) Think about how many times we all like to, "fill up our plate," when we get ready to eat. If you have a smaller plate, you can actually play a Jedi mind-trick on yourself.... by filling up your plate with less food.

Awesome post. And I can identify with it, too. Waking up some mornings, having that, "*kitten* it" mood..... then you just turn it around & just do it. It's so much more satisfying when you finish strong.

What worked for me yesterday -- Logging my foods prior to eating. That way I can keep a closer eye on what I'm putting into my body, and I can adjust my meal quantity so I don't ruin a day's worth of progress.
