I am on my feet pretty much all day at work, I purposely park far away and use the stairs etc.

Remember all of those numbers are an average from a 20 day period. Some days I barely break 10k steps, some days I get 17k. Some days I exercise maybe 15min while others I get closer to 60min. That’s why I made averages for all of that, I figured it would be more accurate to my overall levels instead of just individual…

I follow a 90 Day body weight fitness program. I do at least 50 burpees a day. Some days I inline skate, some days I run, some days jumping jacks. That 499 per day is an average from 20 days.

The steps are all just from walking. I have step counter turned on and synced with my iPhone. I add all of my exercise individuality after I complete it. MFP tracks my steps and counts them as calories burned and makes that adjustment. So I should set that question as Active?
-
I mean I had an extra 37 calories from exercise, I had 37 calories left that I could ate ate away.
-
Yea, my iphone app keeps saying failed to sync data with server.
-
My app is not syncing with the website. Something's up.
-
Website is working or the community but not loading my profile on Safari on my MacBook air.
-
I’ve been on the iPhone app and it’s been saying it can’t sync with the server. It’s still showing all of my food and exercise etc. I was just able to log food about 10 min ago.

So if I go on this new 1.5lbs lost per week and stay at or close to the new daily calorie goal of 2130 and stop eating under, wether it’s from actually eating under or from exercise, I will continues to lose the weight in a healthier way?
-
The Net Calories are the calories I had left or went over. So if there is a + it means I should have ate those calories to get back to the daily calorie goal. If it is a - that means I went over on calories and didn’t exercise enough to make up for it.

Please look at the pic and let me know what you think. I see the error of my ways. The last day is today and not complete yet. I underlined the days where I was negative calories and the days where there was a weight change. I weigh my self on the same scale at the same time every morning.

Thanks for all of the great info and insight. I went into my app and changed my goals from 2 pounds a week to 1.5 and realized that every day I have been under my calorie goal and need to stop that. My calorie goal changed from 1880 to 2130. I will make sure I keep eating healthy and exercising but also making sure my net…

I am honestly very torn. I just did a Google search for “How many pounds lost per week is healthy?”. Literally every single website I went on said 1-2 pounds per week! Now I’m confused. I’m talking the centers for disease control website, men’s health, Mayo Clinic, not bs no name diet websites. Every single one says it is…

So what everyone is saying is to just eat more? Hell I can do that easily. You are all saying that I should be at my 1,880 calories by the end of the day regardless if it is from only eating 1880 or eating more than 1880 but getting back down to 1880 with exercise? I can do that easily, I love to eat lol. Maybe I’ve been…

I just looked back through all 21 days and with the exemption of maybe two or three I actually ate over my 1,880 calorie suggestion from MFP. I am eating plenty of food! The calorie deficit is from cardio and exercises not under eating. I’m not starving myself at all.

Everyone keeps saying I will lose muscle because I am not eating enough. I eat plenty and drink plenty. Sometimes I still eat way too much. I am also doing a whole lot of body weight exercise and dumbell exercise which is ADDING muscle and increasing metabolism. 2lbs a week on a 198lb person who is trying to lose around 30…

I will 100% take everything eveyone has said and remember it and I will continue to listen to my body. I have to see how this works long term for me, only way I can know how my body is dealing with this new life style.

I’m 190 right now, I think I can make 180 by Valentine’s Day!

[/quote]To be fair, you did ask what we thought and if it was good progress. We may not know you, your body or your physiology, but keep in mine neither does MFP. You can tell it what you want and it’ll calculate what needs to happen to attain those results, but it certainly doesn’t check in with your doctor to ensure…

I’m not saying what anyone has posted here is wrong. None of you know me or my body or my physiology. I understand what all of you are saying. Here is what I do not understand. I am eating healthier than I ever have before, I am tracking my calories and macros and taking vitamins, probiotics, omega 3. I am doing body…

Ok here is my thing. Up until I was maybe 26-27 I was very skinny and I had a six pack because of that, not because I ate healthy or worked out. I just had a fast metabolism and was very skinny. I weighed 135 at 24 years old in 2007. Around 26-27 I changed nothing, I still didn’t work out or eat good at all and I steadily…

Please read my second post in this thread, I believe it will add more insight to my specific weight loss situation. I think that my loss from 198 down to around 184ish will be very fast and easy. Once I get BACK DOWN to around 184ish I feel like the loss will slow down quite a bit.
-
My goal is to stay around 165-170 and begin more weight lifting workouts. I don't want to be a bodybuilder by any means just look fit and feel good.
-
So to add more detail to my specific fitness journey- I normally sit around 182-186 with a terrible diet and basically no exercise but with an average of 12 to 14K steps a day just from my job. I spent about 10-11 weeks doing nothing but sitting on a couch and eating terrible and went form my average 184ish up to 198. I…

Goal weight is 165-170

I am on day 18 of a 90 day exercise program. I have been tracking my exercise and calories since day one of that with MFP. I have been eating much healtheir and trying to eat less. I do a 16 hour intermittent fast every 4 days. I am 36 y/o, 5"10 and when I started I was 198 and now I am 192. My goal is 165.

The app says I am negative 1,450 calories not only 20 like you say or only 90 like JustReadTheInstructions said...
