I love it, it's one of the few things I pay for.

I'd be happy to be part of your tribe. I am 57 and have about 55 to lose. I am in a very rural area and surrounded by people who don't really think about health, everyone at the place I work has horrible eating habits. I hope you stay and find the support you need. Send me a friend request if you want, I have to figure out…

Noom wasn't for me either, I am much better suited to My Fitness Pal, good luck on the rest of your journey, sounds like you are doing great.

OK don't laugh, but I finally cooked a chicken breast that was edible, trust me it's been a long process lol

I know how you feel, my dad is a very superficial person and makes mean comments about overweight people, so when I gained weight I felt worthless, it is slowly getting better as I loss it once and for all, but I have a ways to go. Good luck on your journey. :)

I don't know if Lenny & Larry are real people, but they make great little cookies. I discovered these at the convenience store today, I have been searching for something I can grab when I just want a little quick and sweet treat that won't derail me for the day. There were unbelievably yummy, there were 7 bite size cookies…

I'm 55 and started this back in January, close to 30 pounds gone, I love MFP, another 4 pounds and I will be lower than I have been in about 15 years, it has worked well for me, I hope you find you like, I really enjoy hearing all the stories in the forums, they are very motivating. Best wishes.

I take greek yogurt and fruit (often berries to put on the yogurt), and a cucumber salad most days

I find it to be a continual learning process of what works and what doesn't, I tried eating out last night and totally messed up my sodium with something I thought was a healthier choice, for me eating out isn't worth as much as it used to be it's too hard to figure it out at this point, maybe once I get to maintenance,…

someone told me I looked like some hot actress I had never heard of, so I googled her and it was a compliment lol, and the fact that a while back I realized I could see my toes again while taking a shower

me too, funny thing I used to hate dark chocolate now I love it, and I can eat just a small amount as a treat which I never managed to do with milk chocolate

congratulations, way to go, I can't wait to take my dog on longer hikes as I lose weight, thanks for the inspiration

same here, I was put on a whole slew of depression meds and gained 50 pounds in a year, I have lost about 35 of it but it has taken forever, I'm on track now to lose the rest but wish I had never taken so many meds, for me they didn't even help and just made me sicker :(

this is so true, I love peppermints and a friend gave me a bag for Christmas, I calculated it out and if you changed nothing else and ate just one peppermint a day at the end of the year it would equal 2 more pounds, and I never ate just one

54 (55 next month) with 56 more to lose, I don't know how to send a friend request yet, I've only been on mfp for 6 weeks, but I would like in :)
