Thanks for all the info and tips. I'm 41, I'm overweight since I was 18, had a knee injury and 30 kilos in 1 year. I've never had stamina for cardio, running I would get the stomach aches so I never really did it. Now I can't run for the injury so bycicle is my cardio option. I don't get stomach aches but I do lose my…

Wow Mike, so yeah you clearly know what I'm talking about. I broke my ACL at 18 had surgery and was perfect, and 2 years ago skiing y broke the repaired acl, the ICL and the LCL. It also touched a bit the PCL. Imagine my knee swinged from left to right while brushing my teeth, pretty scary. After surgery I'm more or less…

But yesterday lunch with friends and beer, wine and scotch to finish, not massively drunk but tipsy enough. Today I have only a light hangover but feel like crap anyhow. Day by day. We managed 22…

Ok, so here I am on my first negative message. I travelled this week and was very afraid of this. As it turns out I didn't eat like I do in my house, but I was a bit careful with the carbs, kept away from booze and kept away from cake / sweets in the meeting room. On the negative side I did binge a bit on the quantities…

Yes, you are right. It's funny though as they are in general very fit and take care, but when they go out they need to do the macho role and criticize that. I'm starting to build a different network. Let's see how it plays.

Thanks and sorry for answering late, I'm not too used to MFP so getting my head around notifications. Congrats for your journey, it's always tough to break habits and you've done it. So no one can take that from you. I'm still staying on the safe side 2 weeks in. Journey continues.

Ok so my commitment for tonight and this week is, to start reading a book and stop doing mobile /laptop bedtime, include some weight training and try to be above 5000 steps every day. That is on top of my program.
