You want to do static stretching. The stretch needs to be held gently for 30 secs to a minute each. Go as far as you can without stretching. I think you are getting dehydrated if you are doing such long runs. Cramping is usually from an electrolyte imbalance. Try drinking some smart water. It's a much better option than gatorade etc. With hockey we used to make the guys drink pickle juice to help with their cramping! :laugh: Yum Yum!

I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks when my BF and I broke up. That was AWESOME...... :wink: BUT, a year later I gained it back PLUS 5 pounds. So when you resume your "normal" life.....I'm gonna bet that it comes back unfortunately.

Then you're NOT the norm as far as personal trainers go. I'm just reminding people to CHECK BACKGROUNDS before they go with anyone that has some sort of certificate. He wasn't even saying that the OP was a bad trainer. He was talking in GENERAL. People get WAAAY too overly sensitive on these boards sometimes.

Breaks are GOOD! Gives your body some time to recover. I was forced to take 2 weeks off of no exercise to heal because I pushed too hard with 2 a days!
