Lemon-tahini coucous with turkey and vegetables topped with sliced almonds, lemon zest and feta. This was a modification of a chicken recipe from eatingwell.com. I used some already cooked ground turkey from the freezer. The recipe put all ingredients together but I preferred the meat, coucous and vegetables separated bowl…

Since we went out for Thai food for lunch today we decided dinner should be light so we did build your own salads. Kipper snacks, cheddar crackers (blue diamond nut thins) and salad of romaine, shredded cabbage, beefsteak tomato, capers, kalamata olives, sliced almonds spritzed with olive oil.

Sautéed shrimp over black rice, cherry tomatoes & edamame/corn. We used the Trader Joe's Ajika Georgian Seasoning Blend with the shrimp. It has chili peppers, coriander, fenugreek, dried garlic, salt & marigold and adds a light picante flavor.

@acpgee that looks delicious We went out for Mexican food. Starter of cheese quesadilla which I forgot to photograph. Followed up with street tacos: al pastor and carne asada. Paired with Negra Modelo beer.
-
Dry aged tomahawk steak (sliced), twice baked potato, chopped salad (from a kit). The steak and potato came from our local meat shop which sources their meat locally. Paired with Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale (which is peeking through on the right hand side).

Lamb chop (w/za'atar), mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus & cherry tomatoes.
-
Yellow curry with chicken, potato & onion over basmati rice.
-
Fried green tomatoes, crawfish hushpuppies, steak frites with garlic aioli. Beef was American wagyu. One of the better restaurant meals I've had recently.
-
Carne asada taco with guac, salsa, cheese, tomatoes and cilantro. I had a couple of these but in order to keep the tortillas hot I made them one at a time. Meat is grass fed. Tortillas were made fresh the old fashioned way (corn, water, lime) this morning from a local shop. I'm way too lazy to make my own.

Spaghetti with marinara, basil and grass fed meatballs. Caesar salad (yet another kit).

@corinasue1143 it's the American wagyu not Japanese (which I should have specified but forgot to). The American wagyu ground beef is different then the grass fed ground beef I usually buy but it's not as good as the Japanese wagyu which I've only had a couple of times because it's quite expensive.

Wagyu beef patty, mashed butternut squash and chopped everything salad (kit).
-
Air fried chicken tenders and tater tots. Chicken tenders coated in gluten free panko.
-
Sautéed Argentinian red shrimp with soy and miso added, jasmine rice cooked in coconut milk and Thai Mango Chili chopped salad. Salad from a kit.
-
Chicken over brown rice. Side of edamame & corn. I cooked the chicken and onions in a mix of hoisin and soy sauce. Topped everything with the usual sesame seeds and other Asian seasonings.
-
Dry aged beef patty, mashed potatoes and salad of little gem, two kinds of cherry tomatoes, olives, capers and almond slivers spritzed with olive oil. One type of cherry tomatoes came from my plant and they were sweet and tart at the same time. Beef was from the butcher shop.

Garlic naan pizza. Toppings: marinara, cheese (asiago, pecorino & mozzarella), olives, tomatoes, prosciutto and basil.

Height: 5'3" July goal: < 119lbs At this point the goal is to lose only one pound per month for the rest of the year. 01 - 119.9 02 - 120.5 05 - 121.5 Not surprising since I had four restaurant meals over the holiday weekend 07 - 120.7

Lamb brat, polenta w/asiago cheese and salad of romaine, Kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, capers, basil leaves spritzed with olive oil. The sausage came from a butcher shop and I've never seen brats made from lamb until now. They were mild in flavor.

We were trying to find a place for brunch today and everywhere that had decent reviews was either closed or had huge lines so we ended up having cajun food. Spicy fettuccine Alfredo with alligator. Garlic bread. I knew I was taking a risk with pasta here (I prefer mine al dente) but outside of it being overcooked the dish…

For July I'm going to concentrate on my exercise consistency again. I did OK part of June but could do much better. I will walk the treadmill or outside for at least 30 mins per day. I will do EPIC at least 2x per week. When I exercise I feel much better both physically and mentally.

I did pretty good with my goals for a while but have been feeling poorly this past week and not done much of anything except read a lot. I think for July I need to stick to one goal only which is to get my daily exercise in no matter what. I'll have to think about that.

Height: 5'3" June goal: < 120lbs I'm back after a break. I didn't even have access to my scale part of last month. Unfortunately, I put on a few pounds due to travel but had dropped most of it but then blew it over the holiday weekend. Like my goals for the last year I'm still trying to get under 120lbs and stay there.…

Beef patty, mashed potatoes, Thai chopped salad (from a kit).

Cajun boudin sausage, black beans, rice w/salsa verde. This sausage was from the recent butcher I found. It includes ground pork, rice, pork liver, onion and seasoning. I wasn't aware of this when I got it. It was on the dry side and I hate liver though the amount used was small as the sausage itself was tolerable though…
