  • I have the same issue too. I upgraded to the watch from a Gear and the Gear was pretty point on about calculating my steps compared to the watch. Apparently it's a common issue if you look at the reviews. Another issue I've noticed is it counts steps when I'm dressing! Sometimes if I'm trying multiple items it logs it as a…
  • I'm curious if there is any reason you are choosing not to take protein powder?
  • I don't know what am doing wrong. I checked my Libra app and I've only lost 1.5 lbs since I started tracking mid-March. I have set MFP to lose 1lb/wk and at sedentary level. I get 1200 calories and I do eat back my workout calories so I average about 1400 calories per day. I'm wondering if I should up it to lose .5 lbs and…
  • I checked MFP and I've been logging for 50 days but have only lost 3.5 lbs. Looks like I'm losing about .5lbs/wk... ugh. It's about that time of the month so I know I'll probably gain what I've lost and more...then a few days later I'll be back to having lost the 3.5. Height 5"3 Ultimate Starting Weight on 1/28/19: 160…
  • FTR I started weighing all my food so I know I'm not eating more calories than I log.
  • Ha... I get it/you! I happen to run across your post and was exhausted after reading it...LOL. I do think you've done a great job on your weight loss journey, but also get how frustrating being so close yet not so close to your ideal weight can be! I kinda feel I'm getting conflicting advise too on calories so I'm trying…
  • At 1350 would I eat back my exercise calories on days I do workout?
  • My bloodwork has always shown am iron and vitamin D deficient. Last one my levels were so low I was prescribed some iron pills. I'm due for a physical soon so am hoping to see if both my levels have improved to see if I still need to continue supplementing iron. You are probably right about me buying into the hype…
  • MFP gave me 1700 calories for maintenance. I think my problem is I mainly crave junk food that one week and not just any healthy foods. So the trick for me will be to figure out how to still eat more healthy food without going overkill on sugar. One thing that did help is I quit alcohol... the first few months were brutal…
  • My enemy right now is not fat but carbs... and sugar! I end up going over my daily macros for carbs and barely hitting my protein and fat macros. I did subscribe to MFP in order to figure out what the carbs culprits are so I can switch them out with more protein and fat dense alternatives. I was looking to quit dairy (I…
  • I think this is the approach I will go with. If I want to eat 1400 or so calories a day and net 1200 I'll have to do a high intensity workout for at least 30 min. Not counting calories is what ends up getting me. I just subscribed to MFP so I know that will push me to commit to counting calories.
  • I usually rotate thru some of Jillian Michaels HIIT like 30 Day Shred, kickbox fast fix, 6 weeks 6 packs and also found some Lumowell videos on Amazon prime. I'm open to any suggestions for effective at home workouts. I usually skip lunges and any moves that are hard on my knees. If I can change up my bedtime I could…
  • 5'3... current goal is 140 -144 which is the high weight for my height. I'm very curvy so I find below 140 I look malnourished. Right now I've been yoyoing between 158 -162... I weighed 156 when I was 9 months pregnant and have been trying to lose 15 lbs for almost 10 yrs now in order to get into 140s. Kinda trying not to…
  • Apullum- MFP gives me 1220, and it does add exercise calories. I track those on my watch which syncs with MFP. Grace42c- right now 20 min is about all I can squeeze in a day given my crazy work schedule. I work out first thing in the AM. I struggle with getting enough sleep as well which could be another culprit. I'm…
