U look great! I’m at a healthy weight & have decided to do a recomp. I’d rather be strong than skinny 😁

You’ll be fine, just research it & eat Whole Foods. There’s a good vegan protein powder @ Costco

I think a padded saddle is fine. I used to commute on bike in Boston & plastered reflective stickers all over my bike & helmet. Didn’t care what I looked like, I never got hit! Now I ride to my kids school & got reflective things for the spokes. I use a panier & have found it really helpful for carrying stuff. Have fun, I…

My trainer had us do a 100 rep circuit. I’m tired.

Do what you like & fits with your fitness goals. I do weights & yoga. For me, yoga alone does not increase my strength as much as weights. TRX is awesome & could be a substitute for weights to some extent.

I was the same way at your age and still am sometimes. See a counselor/therapist to talk about this. You can’t eat your feelings for the rest of your life and may start using alcohol/drugs to self medicate instead of food. I know cuz I’ve been there.

I do. I breath through my mouth a lot which is fine. I use a neti pot at first sign of cold, it really works & was recommended by an md. I’m pretty active, it shouldn’t keep u down 😀

I’ve felt the same way but u really have to just jump in. Hire a trainer to show u around. Many gyms offer small group classes, great way to get into it. Everyone starts sometime! Also if u have a YMCA closeby, I find them the less intimidating gym.

I make lots of Buddha bowls. Sauté or roast any veggies, serve over rice w peanut sauce, sesame seeds, cilantro & lime. Avocado too if u have it

Good advice on here. U should be fine in re to recovery. Stretch, rest, sleep. Maybe wait until March to start training for next race. Did my last 1/2 in the fall after being sick & not training much. I made it, it’s amazing what the body can do. Oh also hydrate a lot to help ur recovery, I’m sure u know that

I’m not currently skating but I’d log it as hockey if that’s an option.
