  • Happy April to all. SW 11/1/2020 - 265 3/31/2021 weight - 250 Lost 15 lbs and counting For April my goal is to lose 3 lbs and get down to 247. Three lbs a month seems to be a reasonable goal for me. My weigh-in day is Thursdays. Best to all of you for a successful and healthy April.

  • My cholesterol was total of 249 end of October 2020. Told the doctor no meds, I will take the lead with diet and exercise. We agreed to a new test end of March 2021 which is today.   • Today is my 17th day in a row walking over 10,000 steps at a rate of 20 minutes per mile. Feels great.
  • Update: Today marks 9 months of my weight-loss journey and I am down 94.4lbs (330lbs to 235.6lbs). Also, I got to day 85 of meeting my steps goal!! Congratulations you are an inspiration. Thank you so much.
  • Just recuperating from a sprained ankle. Wasn't able to walk or snowshoe for a week. I walked today for the first time, very slowly but got up to 1.5 miles. What a difference in how I feel.   • My mini goal is to drop 3 to 4 lbs by the end of March. Which will bring my total loss to 15lbs since November. Slow and steady is my motto.
  • I would also like to join. I am 68 years old and have dropped 11 lbs since November. I started at 265 now at 254. I have been eating well, measuring portions and walking 5 to 6 times a week. With all the snow we have int he Northeast I'm also snowshoeing. Would enjoy being part of a supportive community.

  • Thank you for the response. When I do a find for "salad" there is such a range of calories for the different salads listed. I wasn't sure if the listing included dressing. So I will take your advice and list the dressing separately.
