Finished 72 miles on donut. Right hand lane, cruise control set to 40mph blinkers on. No one honked or flashed head light. Now can un clinch fists and go to sleep

I helped keep the world safe for democracy one coat of black paint after another. That submarine glistened. Honestly was so low on the totem pole I always tried to look busy. Carry a bucket or tool bag. My boat is homeported in Guam now.

Aysegul Ikna has been on NPR, if I remember she ' upcycles' and re purposes clothing and materials. Locally sourced I think too.

George Washington Bridge. Can see the Little Red Light House below the east tower. There's a Coast Guard vessel on the west side of the river. That's got to be some cake duty. This is about where Sully landed his plane . Thought sky looked nice.

Trying to coordinate so I arrive back in NYC at 6AM ish. Just finished a glorious 6hour nap. That's really more than a nap. Trusting the K9 meter. Alone in house and there are some odd #ss noises tonight. Maybe on the roof? Don't know. Daisy seems unconcerned. Back in city she barks at cabbies talking at Bodega across Lexington Ave and 4 flights down at 3am. City boy trusting dog, just the house settling, no chupacabra on roof.
