Get better soon! Keep thinking of all the great things you will be able to do once all the excess skin is gone and you are healed.

All we have is right now. Know that you are loved, and make sure you tell those you love! Have an awesome day!

That’s awesome. Not snacking in boredom and in peer situations is huge. Very nicely done!

Not gaining is good. Practicing maintenance isn’t a bad thing. Way to make improvements to your plan and push forward. Remember perfectionism can be a powerful nemesis. It’s ok not to be perfect all of the time, and there is no harm in trying to be perfect every time.

You are so worth it! Way to express your thoughts! We all have thoughts like this! WTG!

Have you tried listening to you hunger and fullness signals? It took several weeks for me to recognize my physical hunger signals, actual growling in the stomach, and I am still working on my fullness signals, the feeling of just satisfied, now I’m ready to go, I’m energized, and feel light, I not stuffed, I feel good and…

I’ve owned this scale for 14 years. Absolutely the best, most consistent scale I have owned. https://www.thecompetitiveedge.com/shop/item/123-productId.184550174_123-catId.176160793.html

Having contingency plans for every occasion is nice, and I try to do that and respect that. IMHO, learning to listen to your body and not overeat is also important in the long term.

People lose weight all the time and have cheat days. The choice is yours. “My choices either get me closer to or farther from my goals.” It’s that simple. Learn to love the process, and make sure your plan is realistic and sustainable, and deprivation isn’t a factor and you will be successful.

I would just tell him. My guess is he hasn’t prioritized health at this point as something else is very consuming. Hopefully it’s not your relationship.

Do you maintain a deficit in your eating?

Very nice!

Today’s Goals - Love myself, by always being patient, kind and understanding with myself, my thoughts, my feelings, my actions, and my results. Commit to my plan for the day. Modify my plan for tomorrow. Practice listening to my bodies hunger and fullness signals. Spend 5 minutes in a Grateful Meditation. Spend 5 minutes…

First off, I use Stevia, and try to avoid the ones with other additives. Secondly, Stevia really doesn’t have anything to do with losing weight. You can eat snickers bars and lose weight. As long as you are eating at a deficit to your needs. Third, the verdict is out on whether they are healthy or not. I would say better…

I absolutely loved the Albuquerque Ballon Festival last year. I will ride in a HAB one of these days.

I use the spiralizer for zucchini, yellow squash. I use a peeler for carrots. Then I blanch them in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes. Then combine with precooked RAO’s spaghetti sauce with no added sugar, and ground turkey meat.

Goals 1. Responsibly manage my thoughts and emotions. 2. Become Physically Fit & Healthy.

Mistakes are ok. We learn lots from them. Just keep trying. Learning to enjoy the foods you love without fearing the desire to binge or overeat them is big part of long lasting weight loss. Part of this is finding a way to eliminate the feeling of deprivation. I know this may sound contrary, but ask yourself the following…

Again, I’m glad CICO works for you. Further, if I had all the answers I wouldn’t be using MFP. I do have personal experiences with what has and hasn’t worked for me, and resemble all of the above results, failures and successes, but mostly failures. I have learned that not all calories are created equal as far as our body…

It’s pretty easy. I’m sure everything adds up for you in your journey right now. Some way or another. It has for me in the past. Eventually, something may not add up for you and you’ll begin to question why. At first you’ll say, it falls somewhere between what’s in your stomach, intestines, bladder and water retention, and…

We live and learn. I wish it all were simple math, unfortunately it’s not.
-
IMHO, First, foremost and unfortunately - CICO is a empirical theory, not unlike almost everything else in life, except Math, Death & Taxes. Not all calories in the human body are created equal. Not all humans utilize the calories in food the same either. Again, it’s my understanding that nutrient deficiencies can actually…
-
@NovusDies who says I’m talking about water retention with regard to nutrient deficiencies? I’m talking purely about weight loss resistance and related deficiencies! Sorry for confusing you.
-
Excellent! Your muscles will retain water when you tear the muscle fibers as you exercise and workout. You could easily see 3-4% swing in typical water weight.

@jim_pipkin Awesome Loss! Your actions are everything! Keep working your plan and the 3’s will be long behind you in your rear view mirror!
