I have Nexplanon, I'm on my fifth year with it now. Systemic progestin in its various forms (Nexplanon, Depo shot, etc) has been somewhat associated with weight gain in about a third of women that use it, though I'd caution against going off individual stories to tell you whether or not it'll happen to you. There are…

Slight impasse since above poster just told her age, lol. I would have guessed around 30.

Seltzer water (flavored or not, I like Bubly strawberry and Polar grapefruit the best) is a really good appetite suppressant for me. Plain water tends to make me feel hungrier, but seltzer chills my stomach out.

38F 5'0", back on the CICO train since mid-Feb of this year. Graduating medical school next year so this is as much for personal health as it is learning about the process so I can assist others in the future. Love new friends, please feel free to add me!

Combination of... 6: Medical student, I'm tired mang. 7: Going on 15 years single, never gotten a yes when I go out on a limb to ask someone out, doesn't exactly make me hopefully that tomorrow will change anything. 8: Major introvert, I do admittedly like my space, quiet, and freedom to pack up and move wherever I want…

Yes, I do 18:6 or 16:8 depending on the day's schedule (plus CICO). I haven't found any increase in weight loss velocity from uncomplicated CICO, but the IF has had a very good psychological impact on me (tangible daily goals, cutting out mindless snacking after eating window, etc).

Always open to more friends. I lost 40+ lbs with MFP years ago and gained it all back plus some during the first two sedentary years of medical school. Back on the wagon with a fresh account, getting back in the game!

Not a mother but near-40-year-old full-time medical student trying to get past two years of building terrible habits (and 50 surplus lbs). I do the gym when I can but on our not-infrequent 16 hour clinical days it just isn't happening. Feel free to add! And that goes for anyone else in this thread looking for more friends…

Medical school. Too much sitting + late night comfort/stress eating.
