I agree. If you're tracking the foods you consume, it probably doesn't matter which day you add them to, but it might be a good idea to be consistant, whatever you decide, so it's easier to remember when you recorded it. I also suffer from chronic insomnia & record my food intake for the actual date, so if it's 3am, I…

Aside from calorie counting, I like that the probiotics help with digestion & nutrient absorption, so in some ways, less is more - "getting a bigger bang for the buck" as it were. I love fermented carrots as a snack & am trying some new recipes but would love to hear what some of you are doing. Is anyone out there brewing…

I use cashew milk & find it creamy enough for most anything I use it in. I like it over the almond, coconut & almond/coconut blend.

Now that I'm alone, I dont cook quite as much but I always cook more than one meals worth, so I eat some & freeze some with everything I cook. That way I keep a selection of frozen meals at the ready for when I don't have time or are too tired to cook.

I never liked squash but managed to grow a bumper crop of butternut squash last summer from seeds that were in my compost pile. I'm determined to find ways to use it & found that grating it into homemade spicy Moroccan lentil soup perfectly hid it so I get the benefit without actually having to taste it.

I use turmeric in many of my foods & recently added it to a not very traditional "kimchi" I made that is wonderful both for all its health benefits but also as a super flavorful alternative to salad "dressing". I love golden milk & make it with cashew milk. I have many inflammation issues that I believe the turmeric…
